EOTD: Quick work MU

I went home for lunch and my sis liked my MU so much that she took pictures of it. So here it is! I have 170 followers now, and this means a lot to me! Thank you, each one of you dears! Since I've been asked what I've used.. I've used the small S-he trio palette (almost white pink, pink and dark gray) for the beginning and then added a bit of Lime Crime Snow Queen over the light area.

Dad's Bday Home Party

This is completely beauty unrelated, but I wanted to share it with you ladies! My dad has now 60 years! :D So we organized a home party in our garden, and invited some of the closest relatives. My dear was at the BBQ, I was at the camera (some time) and others were having fun. For now I'll just post a picture of myself taken by my sis and lots of food! We had LOTS of meat, some salads, donuts (without the hole), three kind of cake, apple pie and so on.. There was more than 30 degrees Celsius and we were all sweating heavily. Terrible! BBQ meat... Before And after! Apple pie made by my grandma: Fruit Cake: Chocolate cake: And chocolate cake made by my sis: (okay she made two of them, and I didn't take pictures of the other one..) I am not sure if I will post other pictures. I mean I just saw I didn't take lots of pictures, and on most pictures is food and on some my dad opening the presents. I think I have enough meat for a week or more... :) P.S. Now you know why I am overweight! :))

Goofing Around!

I wanted to do my MU, and try taking some pictures. But I couldn't set the tripod, so bleeeh! Oh well, you have to work with what you have... So I goofed around. Lol, it was fun but next time I need to have at least an idea of what am I doing :D! Ta-da! LOL. The most normal.. almost! O.o What is this? A dog? THE Dog! A giraffe? Lol.. I have about 14 plushes in my room atm. I had LOTS more.. Love beat? xD Heeh.. this was too fun.. And it's good for nothing! I didn't learn nothing new, but.. oh well.. it was still fun! Oh right the MU: It's nothing dramatic, just a neutral brown palette with eyeliner and black pencil. And Max Factor False lashes effect. Btw can you see the circle of my lense? It's my regular contact lenses, and they're 14 mm big! I mean that's the same size as circle lenses. So I don't get it why would those be worse for me. :)

Make Up Storage and lip balm review

Some time ago I saw a blog post in which Gejba wrote about a thing that could help store makeup, which was sold in Hofer for only 8€! Honestly, I jumped off and dragged my bf to the store. I didn't even read the blog post to its end. I got it, and now I have most of my items in it. I also have a makeup train case, which I didn't take pictures off because I have to clean it. I was again playing with that cute program again.. and I think I overdid my pictures, lol. Sorry!

It's a bit boring, but it helps me store my things, so yeah! I will hopefully make it cuter one of these days, but how? Any ideas? It's plastic so the acrylic paint wouldn't work.

(filled with 6 eye shadows from Lime Crime. Those were one of the first, so they don't have shifters and because of that, the minerals go to the borders and look messy. That's my sis's hand)

I have a small room, and I need to reorganize everything. I need a new and bigger wardrobe, a place where to put my books and so on. Hopefully, this will happen this year. bah! I also need to repaint my room, get a new desk (I am dreaming about a vanity desk)... There's plenty of stuff that needs to be done. But first I need to stop spending on items for myself and start spending my money on items for my room. But then again.. I think I will move out pretty soon (okay a year) so investing a lot of money into my room. Oh well, I don't know. 

Now to the review! I Will be reviewing this item:  

Which is a strawberry lip balm from Dvorec Trebnik. It smells like strawberries candy, yummy. 

The ingredients: Petrolatum, Echinacea purpura extract, Cera alba, Tocopherol, Lanolin, Glycerin, Aroma, Citrus grandis seed extract.

 

Bad, good and rating; 

Pros: 

+The smell - it smells yummy!

+The cute package +It moisturize my lips for a long time. 

+The price (I got it for a little bit over 1€ because it was 40% off) 

+I have to apply just a dab of it, for my full lips 

Cons:

-The packaging, lol. I know.. when my nails grow it's hard to scoop it out. I wish I had a spatula.

-I don't think it belongs to 'natural' cosmetics line 

-Isn't available worldwide, just in Slovenia in Mercator 

Rating: ♥♥♥♥ 4/5 

Overall: Well I like it. But I am not sure if I would buy it again. I mean I have soo many other products to try out! But I like the fact that the feeling of hydrated lips lasts a long time. That's really great. Plus it makes my lips really soft. I also like the packaging, and now that I've come out with a special tactic how to pick the stuff out. well, now it's easier. Plus it's a great thing in summer. All my other lip balms have melted and when I try to apply them, there's some huge mess! So overall it's a good product. It does its job really well, plus it's cute. But the sad thing is, that it's available only in Slovenia.

How do you like the images? I mean with all that cute border? Today I will post a makeup entry! It makes me sad, because I apply MU every single day, and every single day I do something different. But most of the time I'm in a great hurry, so I don't have time to take pictures.. *sob sob* But everything would change if I had a compact camera. Hopefully, I will get myself one! Oh and one more thing. I ordered Geo Nudy Blue. I can't wait to see how they will look on me! But more on that when I get them.

YAY! Now it finally works, thanks to my bro! I really didn't know how to set up the DNS.. So all I paid for was the domain, and stupid me I didn't get it from joker.com, but from a site that ha got it from it, and I didn't even know! The DNS is free, since he got it from a free host thing.. hell I don't know! Oh well, it should work for one year ;). Now I will also have a related email - [email protected] and of course my personal mail, but that will be for personal use.. Probably I'll use the first one for companies and so on. Probably. It feels great to have my own domain! It feels like Xmass! I promise that I will post more exciting news and stuff ASAP, because now I'm working almost non-stop and the rest of the time I'm at my bfs place. So, coming next: *Make up storage, ideas and how I do it? *Nail polishes storage? *After bite haul P.S. The picture was taken last year when we were trying out Nikon D70 and I honestly got lost because it has less logic placement of buttons than Canon D30, D40 and D50. But still.. ^^

Domain

Yesterday I got myself a domain for my blog. It will be Cherrycolors.com! But I almost f* up everything when I didn't set up the dsl and 'connected' my blog to the link.. Of course it didn't work so I reversed it. Now I'm waiting for it to set up, and then hopefully it will work. At least I do hope so! Does any of you girls have experience with setting your own domain and then linking it to your blog via blogger? Help? :)

NOTD: Trying the acrylics with nail polish

Hello ladies! 

Earlier this morning I saw a blog post where a girl posted her NOTD which was inspired by one of Eki's scans of a Jap magazine. Sadly I couldn't find the blog post anymore, but I found out the mag scan! My nail polish was chipped on one nail, and I also got bored of it, so I decided to change color :)! I used the Alessandro Vamp LE gray nail polish as a base.

I don't like its look on my nails! It makes them look more red (in RL) and it looks blueish! Then I added a first line of dots with the other Vamp LE nail polish that I bought some time ago. The dots weren't really visible so I decided to check the scan again and saw that she used Acrylic paint! Of course, each time I was cleaning my palettes with acrylic paint on it, and I had nail polish on.. well every time I ended with stained nail polish from the acrylic paint that didn't want to go off! So why not!? I took the red and white acrylic paint. I must say that my hand isn't the staidest, so the dots aren't really dots and they're not all in a nice line..

I think it's cute! xD I also played around in xiuxiu meitu.. and here's what I came out with!

It normally looks a bit boring, especially when there's no sun... But let me show you the magic.. I can't stop looking at it when there's sun or strong light around..! Contest Entry:The Grimm Brothers Contest

 

  This contest is held by Tali, and hopefully I am not late... I tried to do The Robber Bridegroom's story.. The thing is that I went to sleep over at my bf's, so I took only little make up with me but I anyway went for the natural brownish look with a mix of tired look. The story tells about a girl that is engaged to a murdered and human flesh eater. She reveals what she saw on the day of her wedding, so I went for the tired look. I mean how would you feel if you had to marry a person who will eat you after the wedding? I wouldn't sleep for a couple of days! I'm sorry for the shitty pictures but the flash was just too strong and the make up is hardly visible :(. It saddens me so much, but I couldn't do anything about it since I am not at home and without flash I got just plain yellow images. Tali I hope they're good enough for an entry in your contest :(. Why I went for the 'natural look'? Well because it's a dark story of a simple girl. I tried to be realistic about the make up she would wore so I did this.

 

  I think I managed to look hella tired, lol... But that's pretty much it. I used a lighter skin color for the base eyeshadow and darker in the crest, that was pretty much it when it comes to eye make up. I did some contouring and so on on the face.. But sadly I have some break outs atm... oh well!

 

  Now I've learned the lesson.. next time I know I have to put 300x more make up to make it visible on the pictures. I've used: +SkinFood Mushroom BB cream +No brand eyeshadow in light brown and dark brown +Essence kajal black pencil +Essence liquid liner in black +Coastal Scents contour palette for contouring +Max Factor False lashes effects mascara +S-He 330 lipstick (shiny brown) +A tiny bit of purple eyeshadow in the crest by some cute brand, but unknown..

Package in the mail! :D From Kessa Thea!

As you may remember, some time ago I won 2nd place in Kessa Thea's giveaway! She's a sweet doll and if you don't know who she is, then man.. you're way behind time :D! Okay just check her out, because she's one of the sweetest bloggers I've got to know here! I was super happy when I got a text from my sis, telling me I got a package. You know, I was working for the whole day,.. 10 long hours D:! So I made my boyfriend go to my home and bring it to me, at work. :P He said I'm spoiled but he did it... Being married will probably be great.. :D! I took the pictures at work, so sorry for the bad quality! (btw Kessa I so envy you, I mean.. a red package! We have to send stuff in brownish envelopes and packages.. blah!) The package: Oh no, it was opened by the customs!!: This is the first thing I took out :D: I was so excited, I mean.. I LOVE hello kitty! And I mean, a hair pin .. I'd wear it all the time xD! I saw that it was a little broken but I didn't imagine.. That it was literally in pieces... Poor kitty.. :( But I liked the idea so yeah! I'll try to glue it together, but I'm a bit sceptical because it's plastic and it's hard to glue plastic.. The prize (all other items are goodies!) What a cute bookmark! :D A really sweet note (I forgot to include notes when I sent out the gifts D:!!!) Her handwriting is perfect, so pretty and firm! Mine is.. ahaha.. like a cat that tries to write with her paw ;) More extra goodies!: I soooo wanted to try sheet masks! I was longing for those for a while now! THANK YOUUUU! Honest Scrap Tag!

I was tagged by the lovely Win Win some time ago, but I forgot.. well actually I had so many other stuff to write about that I just said I'll do it later... I'm sorry this took so long for me to do.. I hate being late. And I honestly dislike people who are always late. I mean 5 minutes is acceptable, but 20 minutes will make me soooo angry! I get to a place at least 10 minutes before I have to and then I do other stuff so I get there in time. 2. I really dislike doing nothing. I mean, it's okay to just lie down with a book and then sleep. Okay I call that relaxing, but doing the whole damn day nothing? I cannot stand it. 3. I am quite sociable, tho there was the time when I tried to avoid people because I thought no one would like me. 4. I have two sisters and a brother. One of them is my twin sister Parisky , then I have a 8 years older sister and 10 years older brother. 5. I love animals and I cannot watch them suffer. If I'd see someone hit a dog/cat/other animal, then I honestly get mad. I think this is the only reason I would kill.. ahah :P Or at least beat someone up <.<. Here we don't have animal cops... 6. I get easily obsessed over things, but at the same time I forget about them as easily.. 7. I love reading. I could do nothing else than just read for the whole day. But then I'd feel guilty for not going out... That's one of the reasons I love rainy days (and because I sleep so much better when it's raining!). 8. I have lots of shoes and I want more of them (of course they're all with high heels lol) but I don't feel pretty enough to wear them. So practically I wear only flats and high heels are still in the boxes D:!!! Okay most of the time.. xD I think that my not so thin (ahaha okay fat!!) body doesn't go well with high heels. 9. I used to draw a lot, but then I got into photography and well.. after that I got lazy. I'm trying to get back into drawing, but honestly it's just so hard... 10.
