EOTD: Light Forest

Hello everyone! The mess on my hand after application.. As you've read in my previous post, I've got lots of samples today. I wanted to try out the Sweetscents Teal Shimmer, but I didn't want to neglect my Lime Crime eye shadows, so I used two eye shadows from LC too! I used: Lime Crime Lime Criminal (super nice bright green) Lime Crime Enchanted (nice dark green, like some trees) Sweetscents Teal Shimmer (in between the blue and green color) This came out: But since I have weird eyes, you can't see well, so I took more photos! :) One in flash and others in sun light. But when it comes to colors, I think the first picture is the most realistic when it comes to colors. Enchant is a really dark green, that's why I used it as a liner too. Flash: Sun light: I really adore mineral eye shadows. They can be mixed with practically anything. Nail polish, lip glosses, well anything really! I almost always mix them with my Visine, so it stays on for more time and the colors show better. And for the end, here's my lips with Eyeko Fat Balm in Minty. I started to like it..

Mail for me: Sweetscents order!

On September 19th I decided to order the full jar (30g) of the Sweetscents Green Tea overnight rejuvenation powder. I already ordered the small one from a Slovenian site, but I wanted to stock up. I must say. Sweetscents has one of the best customer service ever! I emailed them to ask them about shipping and they offered me two possibilities. One for 13$ and another for 3$. I decided to try the 3$ one, but she told me she never shipped to Slovenia with that kind of shipping. But I could wait, that wasn't a problem. We agreed on that, and I paid in the same day. She was really kind, and would answer my emails right away, even if the next day she had surgery. She also told me, that she'll pick some samples for me. I was happy, of course. But I expected something like max. 5 samples. Oh boy. It got even better. Today, which is 10 days after she shipped the items, I got it. I mean, that's just insane! I paid lots of money on shipping, on other sites, and never, but never got my item from the USA in less than a month. But here, for the cheapest shipping possible, I got it in 10 days! That's amazing! Now lets move to the package (here it's already ripped open..): Everything so neatly packaged: Everything!: I couldn't believe my eyes. I got 30 samples (in a baggie) and 2 big samples!!! Wow, that's super generous! I think 10 of them were skin stuff. Like the Green Tea Rejuvenation for Dry skin, then Hide a pore, some nice finishing powder, concealers, blushers.. OMG! Now I will test them all, and then I'll order some items (I tried the finishing powder and hide a pore, and I LOVE them both!). My order was actually just this big jar (now 50% off - less than 14$): All other items were freebies.. All I can say is WOW! So generous, and damn I love their customer service. Plus super fast shipping, and not to forget the most important. Product quality + price. Sweetscents site. P.S. For a couple of more days they have the Green Tea items discounted for 50%! (that means the green tea overnight rejuvenation, hide a pore, rice silk powder and bamboo silk powder). Next time I'll tell you what does the Green Tea Overnight rejuvenation powder.. (I'll give you just a hint for now.. It's great for pimples, left overs of touching them when you shouldn't and so on..) Do you know about Sweetscents? Ever tried it?

Review: Eyeko Fat Balms

You all may remember the time when I ordered all three Eyeko Fat Balms. I was really excited about them. :) I think you all have at least heard about Eyeko, no? Eyeko has some amazing products, and the beauty of them is, that they are all really cheap (with some offers they are simply underpriced - and that's good for all buyers ), and with every purchase, you can get a freebie gift (with code: E4634). But today, I'll do a review about the three fat balms. They can be used as a blusher or a lip product.

I think Eyeko has one of the cutes packages ever. SO CUTE! If I didn't rip off the boxes, I'd still be keeping them! They come in three shades. Raspberry which is a dark plum color with a brown undertone with a candy like smell, Strawberry which is red (and smells like strawberry candy too!) and Minty, which is a pinkish nude color, and smells like mint chewing gum.

From left to right: Strawberry, Minty, Raspberry.

Close up:

I have to admit. At first, I didn't like them at all. Why? Well because I was mostly planning on using the Minty balm for my lips, but I couldn't stand the smell. Minty chewing gums make me nauseous. But then I discovered the beauty of a cream blush! And now I'm hooked, I couldn't survive without them anymore!

Close up of the packages:

Yes, that's only 6 months of time to use them all :(. Pros: +The price +The smell (except the minty one) +The super adorable packages +The custom service of Eyeko +Fast shipping (I got them in a week) +Super resistant as a blush! +Cute as a lipstick (for that French bitten lips effect) +Great quality for the price Cons: -The smell of the Minty fat balm -The pigment of the Minty fat balm -As lipsticks they are not really 'feeding' for my lips -You have to use the product in 6 months

I was really looking forward to the Minty fat balm. That was the item that I wanted to get, but since they had a sale (3 for 2!), I bought them all. I love the other two, but the Minty... um not really. I'm still thinking if I should use it as a lipstick. Because honestly as a blusher it is too neutral to show on my skin. Well, of course, it shows up a little, but I like my blushers to be pigmented. And a lot. But I have to admit, it works pretty well as a lipstick, gives me a nice shine + a bit of rose lips and makes my lips feel fresh (because of the minty feeling). After all, it's not bad at all!

Swatch:

Price: 5/5
Rating: 4/5
Overall:
I actually like them a lot. As a blusher, they (Raspberry and Strawberry) work perfectly and are pigmented more than enough. With this rate, I think they could last me a couple of years.. :D With just a tiny amount I get the effect I wanted, and I love it. I must say that these little things are really really resistant as blushers. I wore it 10 hours + and they looked as if I only applied it! Gorgeous! I would recommend them to someone who doesn't like reapplying blush because it'd vanish over the hours (and we all know that some makeup just does vanish!).

Review: Revlon Runway Collection Fake Nails in STELLA

♥~ Hello sweeties! ~♥ Here it is, part 2 of my Revlon Fake Nails reviews. You can read the first part here. I'm sorry for the lack of pictures, but my 3rd review will be mostly made of pictures, cool no? This time, I had a bit more of experience with applying fake nails on my natural nails. I was prepared, I swear I was! I cut my nails super short, buffed them, cleaned them again and I was ready to go. This time, I didn't glue my fingers to my nails. I said I am more experienced now ;)! It was damn easy! I mean, each time you do it, the easier it becomes, and faster you do it.

We're talking about these beauties:

I loved them, but they didn't like me at all. I got air bubbles, and since these nails are sheerer than the other ones (Sequins), they were really visible. But one coat of nude nail polish and it was gone. At least for others, but I could see it, tho it didn't bother me all that much. It wasn't THAT visible. These nails are really natural looking, no one doubted about them. No one. Not even my boyfriend. He liked them, yes he's a French manicure guy.

The set is classic: Orange stick (this time wooden), super size glue (and super strong too!), 24 fake nails, buffing file (that is pretty awesome too!).

Again, I had no problems with sizing my nails to the fake nails. They matched mine perfectly, no buffing was needed there. Perfect! I wore them for 7 days without a problem. Okay, I admit I lost a nail here and there (I AM clumsy, plus opening other people's phones is a hardcore task sometimes), but a quick buff and glue drop, and it was as good as new. Tho I always had my little box with me. That's one thing you really have to have with you when you're wearing fake nails. Even just for the relief feeling. Or safety feeling.

I loved the nails! The downside to all this is that after removal (again the worst kind of all - with my teeth!) there was some glue remaining on my nails. I couldn't get it off. Even with acetone. Not 100%, but close to. That's the only thing that destroyed my nails, glue. I had to buff them quite badly to remove all the glue. But the next time it may be another case since I'll try some glue removing products... I do recommend them, because, for less than 8$, you get your perfect manicure. I can't wait to see them in our stores.

Review: Eye Majic

Have you heard? They say, “practice makes perfect.” There is no need for practice when applying Eye Majic, as perfection is achieved every time! It can’t be any simpler. Any user error can easily be rectified by blending with the back of the applicator. It can be used anywhere at any time, without the need of a mirror. It takes less than 10 seconds to apply and users can keep up with the latest colors, fashions, trends and designs. The next generation of eye shadows is born.
  It's Eye Majic!

Can you believe it? Can you? Plus it's really easy to use. You don't believe? Let me show you... Three steps:

Step 1: Apply Important: Close your eyelid, then raise your eyebrow to give a flat surface for better application. Using both hands hold the Eye Majic applicator on the base of the eyelid for approx 4 seconds.
Step 2: Slide Then by applying comfortable pressure, slide the applicator across your eyelid in the appropriate direction to achieve a sharp look.
Hint: To avoid outlines, use the back of the applicator to blend or tone the applied area for a softer look.
Step 3: Go To achieve a different look you can also apply a second applicator of a different color over the existing eye shadow to achieve a new unique style.
Tip: Any user error can easily be rectified by blending with the back of the applicator.
It's done. So quickly, it's almost magic! Now lets move on to the package..

Those are the big boxes of 5 applications in it:

A gentle smoky eye and a brown smokey eye.
  Out of the box:

You can see that each application is made from three different eye shadows. A dark one, a lighter one and a highlighter eyeshadow.
This time I'll show you the smokey eye.

  Close Up:

It's interesting, isn't it? :) You can see how thin it is..

The application without blending:

With blending:

  Comparison between both:

On one side I used eye primer and on the other I didn't but the shadows showed with the same intensity, so a primer is not a must!
You know you've done it right when..

The applicator sponge is empty! This smokey eye is really subtle, so it could work as a day make up for me. With some eye pencil and gel liner it came out really pretty!

Pros:
+ It's simple to use.
+Quick to use (especially if you're a MU newbie)
+Great idea!! +Something new on the market!
+It comes in a box with 5 packages OR in a box of 2 packages (one has 1 apply for each eye)

Cons:
-The price (It's about 11€ for a big box, but if you hardly use any makeup, it's a good thing, since you won't use like 60 boxes per year)
-The first time it's not that easy to use, the second time you're a true pro!
  Rating: 4 /5
Price: 3/5
Overall:
I like it, because it's innovative! I wouldn't use it on a daily basis, because I have almost always the time to apply make up on. I would use them only when I would be in a real hurry, but in a such hurry, that I'd be doing my make up on the way to the place I'd have to go. You can pick from lots of color choices! You can use two eye shadows on one eyelid, to get new combinations every time! It's a great way to experiment.
In Slovenia you can buy it in Beautique and Maxi stores.

Essence Haul and updates

Yesterday I found some time, right after work to buy some Essence items. Some of them are going out of production so they are discounted to 0.99€.
I had to stock on the Quick Nail polish Dry spray and The Pure Skin Chest and Back spray. Both work wonderfully, so yah. I need to have a couple before I find a substitute for them.. I also got myself Essence Mineral Powder in two shades. One is 02 Soft Sand and the other one is 01 Soft Beige. In the containers both look quite dark, but on my skin they look OK! And as you know, I'm quite pale. And as the last one I got myself the Black Long Lasting Khol pencil. It lasted on my waterline for looooong hours! Who wouldn't love that?! And remember, each one of them was only 0.99€! The cookie like thing is a mirror that I got today, which I ordered from Ebay a couple of weeks ago. I also ordered the white eye pencil, to recreate the white inner corners that are so popular among ulzzang girls. It really does make my eyes appear bigger, but mostly brighter and less tired. Now, moving to different topics. I ordered a Ultrasonic Lens cleaner, that should clean contact lenses really well, almost a month ago. I paid for shipping 18$. And what? The dude said (after asking him what's the estimated shipping time), that it will take 4-8 WEEKS to arrive. WTF? I mean, I paid 18$ of shipping so he would send it the slowest way possible?! Next time I'll know that the cheapest thing isn't the best one,... GRRR! Plus the seller is quite rude, I don't like that. And I'm a patient customer. Another thing that's under the question is my circle lens order. You remember, the 8 pairs of circle lenses? Yah? Well there are some problems with the quantity ordered and with T-Top... But at least the seller here is really nice and explains everything. Bleh! I'm sorry for the lack of updates, but you know.. Tomorrow is the last day of my working week! :D I'm so happy! SO happy! I can't even tell how happy I am! Have fun! xoxo, Tamara

Apple Super Lash Black Mascara

Hello! Lately I haven't been so active because of work. I was first sick, then I had to work.. And I worked yesterday, today I went sailing (that's why the red eyes) and tomorrow I will work again. I won't be blogging all that much for the next three days, simply because working 10h/day is killing my imagination. Plus I'm looking for a new job opportunity, which is interesting too. I think. So lets move to this little miracle in a bottle. Okay not exactly a miracle. It's a mascara from Mexico, and some people dislike it because it's from Mexico. Yesh. It's a super cheap mascara (2,5$), so it's suitable for every ones pocket.
The wand is pretty common: 'nude' lashes: With mascara: Comparison:
Overall: I like it so far. But I thought it wasn't a water resistant mascara. But it probably is, since I took a shower with it and nada, it didn't sting, it didn't get off. Nothing. So far I love it, it deserves all the 5 stars! Rating: ♥♥♥♥♥/5 Price: ♥♥♥♥♥/5 For today this is it. From my red eyes you can tell I need sleep ;). xoxo, Tamara

Beauty packages in the mail!

Heya! ♥ Today my mom called me to tell me, that I got three packages. And that they are tied together. Boh? Ookay, I was really happy, because I thought that an eye pencil came from China, which I ordered from Ebay. But nooo, it was even better! The first package was from the gorgeous Amy Naree! I didn't expect it to arrive so quickly. Hmm.. It took less than a month! Superb! She is so generous! She sent me LOTS of goodies, love em! Now my make up collection is growing :D! Sadly the nude lip gloss broke in the package, so everything was dirty when I got it. And a pencil from NYX broke too, but I loved the color so I sharpened it, and wole! Good as new, just shorter! That lip gloss would make the best base for ANY lip gloss, since my lips are quite pigmented already. Gorgeous, but sadly, gone into the trash bin :((. Look at the goodies! *Revlon Cream Eye shadows (I was looking for those in our stores, but sadly they aren't sold here) *Kate eyeshadow palette (not available here!) *Skin Food Gold Caviar Emulsion sample *Apple super lash mascara (I think I'm obsessed with mascaras lately - this one works perfectly for me - I already tried it yesh!) *2x NXY eye pencils *Maybelline Shadow stylist (gorgeous gorgeous color!) *Plum lipstick *Milani lipstick in 209 *Stila lip glaze All of these items are completely exotic for me :D! Thank you dear! They'll be perfect for my everyday use! ^^ ♥♥ The second package was for my sister, so I have no idea why the post tied it with the other packages... And the last one was for me, from Eyeko. I ordered three fat balms from them. I was too excited to wait for them patiently.. They came in a week ^^. Which is pretty fast! The rehab lip balm is the freebie gift ^^! The balms smell as their names suggest they do. The mint one, smells like chewing gum in mint, the strawberry like strawberry candy (YUM!), raspberry like those candies.. It's cute, and I love the boxed so much, that I keep them in them! Close up of the upper part of the raspberry fat balm: Love love love everything! ^^

NOTD: Red and Gold in Matte

Today I got my holy grail nail polish (Essie good to go!) and a new one. Essie matte about you.
I was waiting for this baby for the longest time ever. Yesh!

Even if I am still a bit sick, I couldn't resist and I had to use it, yes had to! I used Essie Bold and Beautiful.

The picture was taken with flash. It's super matte, and I'm not sure if I like it!
Essie Matte About You

How do you like it?

One of the BEST things I ever did!

This is not a beauty related post. Not at all! Rescue of an abandoned dog: A couple of days ago started something really important. A group collection of dog food. Yes, dog food! I love all sorts of animals, especially dogs. So I decided to join and my dear helped me too! We bought 23 big sized cans of wet dog food and we wanted to bring it to Radio Capris where they are still collecting it (until the day after tomorrow). But instead we decided to bring it directly to Sv. Anton to the dog shelter. Honestly I was crying when I saw all those dogs... There are 70+ dogs in the dog shelter. I like it a lot because they don't put to sleep the dogs after 30 days. Instead there are some dogs that are in the shelter for over four years. Yes four! We also took a cute huuuge dog on a walk. It was great, so we both decided to do something good for those dogs some time again. Hopefully 1x/month. The dog shelter has it's own webpage and even a blog! I don't care if some people think that animals are less worth than human are. I don't give a fuck about it! I love animals and if I can, I will help them! Everyone can help them, at any time. The pictures are not mine, they were found using Google.

Hair stuff haul + NOTD!

I will start with my NOTD... Yesterday I was quite bored and I wanted to do something with my nails... I think I overdid it, so now they look just weird. My sister likes them, but I don't so today this thing goes off!

NOTD:

Hm... Okay.. Today I bought some things for my hair. Like a new hair color, a new shampoo, a new hair mask, and some volume stuff. I mostly use Tigi hair products, but the 2nd-day volume spray does nothing for me.
Shampoo + Mask:

Hair Color:

Volume spray:

And three nail polishes from the Creamylicious Essence TE. This Trend Edition was literally robbed in Muller, but in DM it's still there. Intact! Some weeks ago I managed to get the light beige nail polish and today all the other three! They are super for konad stamping!

Aren't they just pretty? Today the weather sucks so no Eye majic review today. I need a lovely weather for taking makeup pictures.. :) Cya!

Lipsticks, Lip glosses, Lip pencils!

Today I wanted to show you all of my lip items. With swatches! I had no idea that my lips will be sore at the end of the photo session. Oh my! All pictures were taken with flash, so they may look a little different in natural light. This post is very pictures heavy, and each image is clickable! I divided it in three parts. The lip pencils, lipsticks and lip glosses! To begin with, here are my nude lips: So, they are quite pigmented...
