Today.. I'm uttery disappointed about LC

Because, honestly I had no idea that Lime Crime is a fu**ing rip off! I was so naive that I thought that she may have really mixed her own mineral eye shadows. And now lipstick Hell, I mean I was utterly devoted to her company, I have about 20 eye shadows from her, and... now that I know that she's just repacking it from another company and selling it for so much more... Well I feel an idiot. I have a students budget, and honestly I wish I could knew it before.. I mean, now I know that there's not just LC when it comes to mineral eye shadows, but.. daaamn! So, what am I talking about? Please read here. Now I am utterly disappointed and I honestly don't know what to think. I feel cheated, and.. well yes, stupid. I still have to sleep over this information, but hell.. these articles made everything a bit clearer.. I'm not saying that her products are not good, I'm saying that you could get them cheaper from TKB Trading.. F*** it..

FOTD: Test Drive and NOTD: Starry Sky

I currently have super short nails, but for two weeks I didn't do a thing with them.. So I decided to mix my own nail polish and put it on! I used an almost Essie Good To Go, S-he 463 and Nfu Oh 61. I am actually curious how it will look under the day light.. NOTD: Close Up: And now to the FOTD. I was testing a look (this was damn quick, I applied black eye shadow over my other eye shadow - the one I was wearing for the whole day, because I'm lazy and then put on Eyeko Raspberry Fat Balm). I was trying to recreate a look I'll do for another girl tomorrow. Oh, we'll see.. we'll improvise.. FOTD: Do excuse the annoyed face, I hated the fact that I did the MU so late, that I had to use FLASH, so my face looks SHINY! And yah, it looks I have no eyebrows! :)

Full day + Ligh box Case

Today has been a really interesting day! I went with my dear to Ljubljana and then to Kranj.
My dear had some stuff to do there, and in Kranj we went to see the Light tents/boxes and the Light Case.

I thought we'd get only a light tent and that would be it.. but nooo we got all three of them! I can't wait to try out the light tents (80x80cm and 50x50cm)!

I have already tried the Light Case, and here are some test pictures.
I wanted to have it, for all the beauty products, because a day ago we went to the studio to take pictures of some cosmetics, and it was damn annoying. It was lots of improvising, but now we finally got everything we need!

I always dreamed about a light tent, I actually wanted to build my own... :)

They came out pretty well, I think. Of course there's some learning, but the basic is this :)!

We also went to the Running Sushi&Wok restaurant (it's an all you can eat kind of restaurant), and we ate LOTS of stuff. This time I took pictures!

Bah! While I was cropping the pictures,.. I got hungry! Now you'll see why..

I also got some super cute bras and one smart bra (yah, it's super smart xD It remembers the shape of your breasts), which is really comfortable.

Review: Essie Good To Go

Today I wanted to write a review about an item, without which I cannot survive. Honestly, I can't. 

 

It's Essie Good to Go! Now It's been almost a year that my obsession with nail polishes started. Then I didn't use a base coat or a top coat, so my nail polish was drying for HOURS and it wasn't all that resistant. After some time I have read about this little wonder, Good to Go, and I wanted to try it out.

 

  It actually worked, and it shortened my drying time from 2 hours + to max 20 minutes! Isn't that a real improvement?

 

Pros:

+It helps nail polishes to dry faster 

+It lasts a while 

+It comes in a pretty, shiny box

+Turns every nail polish into utter glossy 

+The brush is just perfect! 

 Cons: 

-The price (here it is 10€) 

-At the end it gets really thick and you have to use nail polish thinner, to make it usable 

Price: 1/5 

How I use it: 

After I have applied nail polish on all my nails, I wait a second or two and then I take plenty of G2G on the brush and apply it. Why plenty? Because if I'd take just a tiny bit, it would smudge all over my fresh nail polish. Then I wait lets say 20 minutes and I'm done. But if I want to draw on my nails, or anything similar, I'd do it after 15 minutes, just to be sure. 

Overall: 

This is actually a really good product. Now I'm on my 2nd bottle, and I have been without for two months. In that time, I hated doing my nails. It would take me some time to apply nail polish and then hours of drying time, during which I'd be half stuck to my chair because I could hardly use my hands! It is truly a life savior, because it wasn't for it, I wouldn't be doing my nails.

EOTD: Night and Day

Hello! It's been a while since I showed you a make up look, so today I'd like to show you two make up looks. The pictures could be better, but in the dark it's best to use flash settings, so my skin looks shiny... The Night MU: I used the CS 88 Shimmer palette. I wanted to go only with purple, but my sister insisted that I should use some green, to spice everything up. Fine :) You can see my contact lenses, and some bloody eyes, I was wearing my contacts for 12+ hours... Day MU: I tried to keep it simple. I used one chocolate shiny brown eye shadow by Alima Pure and a sparkling Diamond eye shadow by the same company. I liked the result, but the weather wasn't so shiny as my make up was. Coastal Scents 88 Shimmer palette + news!

Hello, dear followers!

Today I have finally received my order from loooong loooong ago - CS 88 Shimmer palette. I already have the 88 matte palette, but I wanted to own both of them.

I bought them with the intention to use them only for me, mwahha.. but then my dear asked me to do the MU on some girls, so I changed my mind and I'll be using them mostly on others. I will test them out before, oh of course! I must say that I like this palette more than the matte one. Why? It's obvious, I love the sparkling and glittering stuff. The cover is still the old' fancy thing. Everything is the same as in my other review (which means a matte cover that gets dirty really easily, and the inside which is not matte but glossy, and also gets dirty easily, but it's really easy to clean as in the opposite to the matte cover). The palette is very pigmented, and of a nice texture too. Let's move to some pictures, alright?

What to say, the palette is nice shimmery, not too much, and not with huge pieces of glitter. Nope, it is shimmery and not glittery. It's actually perfect!

Dr. Dima's Cosminology Correctors
They have the cutest warning ever! It says WARNING! Regular use may cause excessive skin admiration resulting in skin envy.

One is a color corrector for under eyes circles and the other is a concealer for under eyes circles.

Today's haul

Today I'm feeling better so with my dear we went.. shopping! Okay, not exactly, he had in mind that I need a pair of pants and contact lenses + solution. So later I went alone and picked up some stuff from the Essence shelf. That's why I missed the postman.. gah! D: I'll go pick up the package later before I go to an art exhibition to LJ. I also got another package, about which I'll write when I will write the review... just a small hint. They are correctors, for under eye circles (which I have, and mine are very well visible)!

I must be one nasty person. I'm damn cheap when it comes to clothes. Not shoes, makeup, nail polishes and everything else that isn't clothes. I am damn cheap when it comes to clothes! These were 30€, and I was deciding if I should get them or not. I decided not to, so my dear got them for me ._.

 

I got those two days ago, they are super comfortable and I can tuck in them my pants without a problem. They are super soft too!
 
I am one blind person.. and since I didn't get new contacts for a while I got them today (we will not count circle lenses that I am still waiting for),... Another courtesy of my dear. And last.



I got a bunch of Essence items. I wanted to get more, but there weren't all the items I wanted. bah! The orange pen thing is Vitamin stick for nails; Pinkish thing is a small glass file because I always forget my big glass file! Greenish + purplish mascaras; Black nail polish with silver glitter; Essence Fresh for a fresh start before you apply nail polish (I think it is for getting off any grease from your nails). Hopefully, I'll post my EOTD later.. ^^ Now I'm feeling better so, blogging will become an everyday thing again!

EOTD and food pictures!

Yesterday I had the simplest make up ever. A bit of brownish eyeshadow (shimmer - by P2) and matte in the corners (Essence brown matte), with a bit of eyeliner on the top lid, and black kohl pencil on the bottom part. I wore it for 10h+ and it was still flawless. So who says that drugstore make up is bad? When I finished working my dear called me and asked me if I'd like to go out. Well I had no idea what he had in mind, but of course, I said yes. He took me to a Mexican restaurant (tho we couldn't decide between the Mexican, Chinese and some fancy sh*t)... The garlic soup was delicious (that's why I forgot to take pictures!)... Here's what he had: Mine: No need to tell that we couldn't finish even just one portion. The mushrooms were Delicious, the burrito (well the middle part) had no real taste, which is a shame.. But all the stuff around was really good. I'm currently feeling so sick that I don't want to fix my nails, even if the nail polish has chipped on some parts.. hell I need some sleep. Have a nice day, here for some reason the weather is going crazy. One day it is super hot, the other then it is freezing...

Pleasant surprise..

Today my dear surprised me.. a lot. He got me something I was dreaming of, for a while now.. Let me introduce you 'Baby' aka Canon SX 200 IS in Red. Yeah, red.



I wanted to test it out, but I got home pretty late from work, and outside it was already dark.. so maybe another day :). This one will be for all those trips when it is so damn annoying to bring with you another huge bag just for your camera and lenses. Have a lovely day.. Tamara
