NOTD: Sexy Divide updated + French manicure with a twist

I wanted to update my Sexy Divide, even if it is a gorgeous color. I get bored of plain colors so easily..

I came out with this:

I used a regular kitchen sponge + Illamasqua Grab for the tips.
It came out really nicely, tho sadly I managed to chip my nails in matter of HOURS!

So I just cleaned everything off, and decided to do a regular french manicure.
After I did that, I remembered that my dear LOVED the Revlon Fake Nails, so I tried to copy the pattern of those on my own nails.
It was damn hard, because the nail art polish was drying in the bottle ._.

But from far away it looks pretty similar, so I'm pleased!

Now I will finally be able to post up some reviews, because yesterday we had a sunny weather for a couple of minutes!!

NOTD: Sexy Divide + EOS lenses from BOGO sale

I've been trying to capture this nail polish for days. But the weather is so bad, that it is an impossible task!

That's one of the reasons I decided that I will finish my reviews this weekend, even if there is no sun (for better pictures). This weather won't just go away :(.

So, here it is..  Essie Sexy Divide. I wanted to show it in the sunlight. It's perfect, but now.. bleh!

Rainy day light:

Flash:

See, under flash light, it's perfect! Imagine now the sun.. similar, but nicer!

Detail:

I really like this nail polish, and even if it's from the Winter 09 Collection, I don't think it is really appropriate for winter. Because in dark light it never shows its true beauty.

Now ti the BOGO sale. I ordered one pair of lenses and got two that I wanted. One EOS Adult Green and the other are EOS Adult Purple.

I will do a review in a couple of days, but so far I can say that I tried both of them (yay for ultrasonic lens cleaner). The Green lenses are SUPER BLUE. They look terrible. The purple lenses seem to be defective, so I can't say how they really look cuz, I'm blind with them. Hopefully, that's just because of today (I am super tired).

I will let you know.

Have a sunny day,
Tamara

Wishlist #1

I decided to put together my own wish list :).
Just so I don't forget.

I have a thing for Korean and Japanese cosmetics. I swear I do.
I can't stop looking at all the gorgeous BB creams, cleansing stuff, powders, shimmery 'tear drops', mascaras, blushers, and heck even regular chopsticks!

I'm not sure why, but I think it's their design. And the stuff they promise. It's like they have upgraded the regular promises into something MORE.

Like whiter (not that I need that), healthier looking, skinnier, prettier god damnit!

I guess I could call it a state of obsession. Hm, yes. I'm wondering if I should splurge on all that make up online or wait until I go to Japan (which won't happen any soon if I don't start saving!!)?

Okay.. so for now, it's just a wish list.

I will keep the list updated.. :)

1. Zamian Magic Chocolate and Gold Mask.
I read that it's great for Combination to Oily skin. And it has chocolate. And Gold. So YES.
And don't believe those pictures. I mean c'mon it's so obvious that they added SHARPNESS to make the pores more visible.

2. Etude House  Dream Moisture Cleansing Oil
It looks pretty, the reviews are fine. And I always wanted to try a cleansing oil!

3.  Etude House Precious Mineral Make Up Essence
It is damn pretty, I mean c'mon look at the nice pearls in it?!  And it's a nice brightener. My skin looks dull during winter/autumn. It sucks.

4.  Etude House Black Head Heating Scrub
What to say, if it works, I'd be the happiest person in the world. Okay kinda :). I'm tired of nose masks ._.

5. O'slee Skin meal -Soya bean whitening BB Mask
I am a sucker for cute packaging.

6. Kose CLEARTURN Moisture Essence Mask

I love, love, love sheet masks! But you can't get them here. And in this package you get 22 of them!

7.  Missha B.B. Boomer
Another pretty primer. Shiny :)

8. Bison Peeling Facial Pack Foam
Just look at it. Look at it :o

9. MEISHOKU EMOLLIENT Extra Massage Extra Cold
A make up remover. A cold one, you get it? I like the idea..

 10. Mascaras. Such as fiberlash etc.
11. Eye drops, for contact lenses users (soft), as Lycee, for tired eyes (no need that they are for contact lenses users), for eyes that came in contact with water and are now sore etc.

12. Beaucon Natural Green. I am in desperate need of a green circle lens, that woul enlarge my eyes just a BIT, and look natural in my own color :(

13. LUSH stuff. Soaps, jelly soaps, massage bars.. RAWR!

Review: T.Top Natural II Color Brown (TB2-21)

A couple of months ago I have participated in a T.Top batch order. Sadly lots of things went wrong, so instead of 6 pairs of T.Top lenses, I ended with one.

But it's all good, because I'll be getting them changed for EOS lenses. But still, I will need a lot of patience, because I will probably get them next year. Yes.

T.Top is quite an uncommon brand, I mean it's legit, it's good, but they are just not as popular as other brands are.

Those lenses were really cheap, and by cheap I mean REALLY! They were $15. I got them in brown. I was selecting all kinds of lenses, even purples, so I said 'Why shouldn't I try brown?'..
So I bought them in brown.

The seller sent me some freebies, because of the long waiting...  That was so kind!

Now off to the review!

Enlargement: 9/10 They are 14.00 mm in diameter, but they look HUGE! That is probably because of the black rim.

Color/Design: 6/10 They would look great on brown eyes, would give them a nice natural effect. On green eyes, they are fine, but could be better. I don't like the small lines close to the pupil. But I expected them to be super opaque, but they are not. So I like them more than expected!

Comfort: 10/10 I forgot that I was wearing them. That never happened to me, even with my regular contacts, so.. They are super comfortable!

My 'naked' eye:

With circle lenses:

Both - natural light:

Comparison - natural light:

Comparison - Flash light:

Have you noticed? They look more brown on the flash pictures.

And of course, a full face picture, even if not at all in natural light, or normal angle.

I wouldn't really wear them as an everyday lens, but I they are fine, and will be a nice change. I will probably use them, when I will want to spice up my look. Tho they could pass natural too.

Review: SweetScrents Green Tea Overnight Rejuvenation

Aka "Lurchi".
I call it this way too, even if the idea is not mine at all. If I not mistaken, it's Katja's idea from Carodejka.
She calls it Lurchi because of the Adams Family. When you put on Lurchi, you look just like them. :)

It comes in various sizes, but I have it in two different styles. A 30g jar and a 3g one. The 3g jar is from Carodejka and the 30g jar is from Sweetscents.

The bigger jar is still unopened, but it's the same thing. I just thought if was so essential, to have it stocked up.

What does it do?

It dries out acne. Some claim it's a miracle product and with its use their acne is gone overnight. But for me, sadly, it's not like that. I have to apply it for a couple of days to remove the acne completely.

Usually when I have breakouts the acne stays on my face for 14 days +. Honestly, it is terrible. But with Lurchi the time shortens to maybe 1 week max (if I scratch the evil marks on my face!), or if it's just an under skin pimple then maybe a day, two.

Use:

All you have to do is to apply it on the pimple. So it doesn't show up, at all. That means if you have more such 'zones', that in the end you WILL look like someone from the Adams Family! :D

I use it this way:
Clean my face,
apply toner,
apply Jojoba oil (because if you overuse Lurchi, it will leave you dry patches, plus I love the effect that Jojoba oil gives to my skin),
apply Lurchi where needed.

And when you're done with those steps, just go to sleep. Or do whatever you want.
My dear still isn't used of seeing me with this powder on my face! He gets scared every single time. So jumping around your family/dears is maybe an option just for the brave people. ;)

I don't use it every day. Just when I get breakouts.

If nothing else, the pimple doesn't hurt next day. So I don't have to touch it. Yes, I have that bad damn habit!

Pros:
+It dries out acne
+If you continue using it (if it didn't work completely the first night) the acne are gone!
+The price
+A small bit goes a long way
+Comes in a version for dry skin (I have the normal to oily)

Cons:
-If used constantly for a couple of days without a nice base cream, it may leave you with dry skin patches.
- It is green, it scares my boyfriend.

Price: 4/5 ♥♥♥♥  (sweetscents)

I got mine for $13.49, from Sweetscents for 30g. Normally it is $26.99. Now they're still having the promotion for the lowest price of $13.49, here.

Price: 2/5 ♥♥ (carodejka)

The 3g jar is from Carodejka, where I got it for 7€ ($10). If you are from Slovenia, you can buy it here.

Rating:  5/5 ♥♥♥♥♥

Overall:
I do not leave my home without it. I mean, if I know that I will sleep over. Honestly, it helped me so much, that I forgot how it is to have a damn zit on your face for 14 days ( I have got really sensitive skin, and everything shows on it pretty quickly too).
I am pretty happy for the discover of 'Lurchi'. It works well for me, and I would recommend it to everyone with breakouts on their face/body. It is also available in dry skin version.

Orange, Updated

Aka orange disaster.

Yes, the ultimate disaster! Two days ago I dyed my hair roots, back to blond. And in some parts my hair got grayish white. Nothing special, right? Well this time I hated it, and decided to use another dye on my hair.

Think about it this way, this time I was almost WHITE. So after the white disaster, I got the most gentle color in the lightest shade available in that drugstore. It was a bit orange, but I thought that I always wanted to be a red hair, so I went for it.

Hmm... bad idea. Yesterday night I dyed my hair again, this time at my bf's place. Instead of a gentle orange/red I got a stronger red than I expected.

So I went from the ultimate blond (the pictures were taken from my actual photos) to some reddish thing..

My boyfriend likes it but hates my fringe, my sister loves it, and I..  I hate it? Well not really, since I'll have to live with such hair for the next 8 weeks (hopefully less).

Now I don't know how to do my make up, I mean with blond hair it really didn't matter, but now..  damn!

And what do you think?

EDIT: Some of you said that it is a nice strawberry blonde, and then I realized that the photo kinda sucked. It was taken at night, in bad lightening, and fixed in photoshop so the light could show. This is why today I got another picture for you, taken in daylight (even if it's shitty, cloudy for the 2nd week).

Here is the color in natural light:

It is a bit more red/orange than the first picture shows... I'm learning to like my hair color.. :D

Still, it's a damn hard color to capture in the camera! But it will eventually fade, so ok..

NOTD: Maybelline 180

Today I got bored of my orange nails (and I somewhat managed to chip them anyway).
I used my sister's Maybelline in 180 (Rose Fuchsia Rosy Pink).

I had no real problems with the apply, I put on two coats of the nail polish. The brush was a bit off, chunky, but yet thin, and the bristles were all over 'the place'.

But it wasn't too hard.

The color is really pretty, I just find it a bit boring..  I mean, c'mon I need to update it anyway! Now that I have nail art brushes, I have to use them, no? ;)

To all Slovenian make up lovers! + H&M

Aromaleigh doesn't ship to Slovenia, even if it ships to countries that are next to ours (Italy, Austria and so on).

We need as much signatures as possible (by Slovenian beauty lovers), so they MAY do something about it.

It is the same with H&M, sign the petition HERE.

P.S. Punce podpišite, da bomo imele še eno trgovino več iz kod naročati ;)!

New template

EDIT:

NOW it is finally finished! I may change something later, but for now I'm pleased with how it turned out.

Today I was trying to create my own, but honestly I suck with any type of code. Let if be CSS, HTML...
I suck!

So I was trying to figure out how to do my own layout, for a couple of hours. It was utter failure! ._.
I may change it again, but then again I have no idea what kind of layout should I get..
(because before I make one, I'm going to die old)

Hmm... how do you like the 'new' one?

Damn, and all I wanted was just a plain simple template (as my first one), but with a different header and text colors...

Fail.
