Hy everyone!
Just a quick update before I run to... well somewhere ;).
I'll be gone from today on untill Sunday. And hopefully when I get back, I'll have some nice items.. Or at least I will try the champagne tonic.
I'll write more when I get back.

Today I didn't expect to receive anything, even less to buy something.
But I did! Not buy, but I got from my dear all those nice Nuxe testers. He got it from a friend who is doing today Nuxe promotion. Pretty cool, because I've never tried anything from Nuxe.
That's a LOT of testers, yay! Now let us see what's in there.
Pretty cool. I can't wait to try the colored face cream and the tanning body lotion. And of course the hands cream. I'm still looking for my perfect hand cream.
Ahhh I should really write a review since I have so many things to review ._.
Anyhow, a little bit of info about Nuxe.

This what their site says. Well, I'm still very curious about these products. If I'll like them I'll surely get something. We'll see....
Edit:
I've tried the Self Tanning Body Lotion and it had a weird smell while applying it, but now it smells really nice, kind of gentle. But unfortunately, in the tester, there was not enough product for me to cover my legs too. Ah.
I've also tried the Colored Face Mask and I'm loving it! It smells really refreshing and it adds you a little glow. Pretty!
Aaaand I've also tried the Foot Cream which is pretty dense, as those creams use to be, it smells nice and it leaves baby like skin. Great! So far I like them all!
I gave some of them to my sister. But I tried the foot cream which worked really well plus it had some lovely smell. I also tried the face mask which is kind of gentle but it made my face a bit of itchy and it smelled like those old creams, ew! I also tried the eye cream and it lasted me soo long, I liked it, but I do believe that there are better products for a lower price!

Yesterday I was feeling a bit lazy, but I still wanted to put some fancy nail polish on my nails. I wanted a brownish color because of the weather (It's weird, raining here and there), but then I decided that I'll put on some bright colors, so I won't be moody but just plain happy because of the vivid colors.
I went for the Essie Status Symbol. This one is one of my all time Fav!
I love the vivid pink color, and it has a fantastic name. Status Symbol. My dear joked that if I had to show my paylist... ha ha ha, not funny!
Since I was feeling lazy, I didn't apply any base coat, that's why I had to apply three layers of the polish. And it's still not 100% opaque, but it builds up the color, which is really pretty, it goes a bit neon or it does at least on my pale skin.
Anyhow I suppose two layers would be good enough if you applied the base coat first. Otherwise the white tips still see through the color :(.
Ahhh it's so bright that I don't care about the weather anymore!

Flash light:

Outside light (not sun):

The polish itself is really creamy, and because of that I had no problems with the apply.
I can't stress enough how much I love this color!

Kat Von D's make up line
blush applicator,
brush set,
concealer,
duos,
expensive buy,
eyeliner,
Kat Von D,
limited edition,
lip gloss,
lipstick,
make up box,
palette,
Sephora,
vivid colors
I know this isn't new for some of you, but today I saw that Kat Von D has her own make up line at Sephora! It came out in May 08, ahem.. I'm a bit late, I know I know.. But it's still in the stores, so yeah..
And the second thing is that the closest Sephora to me is like 30 minutes away, even less (Trieste, Torri D'Europa)!
For those of you who don't know about Kat Von D, here's a link to Wikipedia (quite interesting)!
The make up line, the intro is:
Created by Kat Von D, tattoo artist, reality-TV star, and owner of High Voltage Tattoo, this edgy color collection exemplifies old-Hollywood glamour with an L.A. vibe. As her gorgeous face leads on, Kat is as masterful with makeup as she is with a tattoo gun. (She can throw on a full, flawless face of makeup in 15 minutes, flat. Now that's on point.) Accordingly, her passion for makeup and self-expression is inked, so to speak, into every expert product she's created. From pin-up perfection to rocker chic, this limited-edition lineup allows you to tap into your bad-girl side and unleash your inner artist.
In this set there's the Kat Eye Brush Set,Three different kinds of eyeshadow palettes, Eyeliners, double eyeshadow palettes, lip glosses, concealers, different brushes, the travel bag, the lipsticks(the lipsticks are on thing that I really want from this collection. And I mean, I really really want them!) and that's pretty much it. You can find the products here.
True Romance Eyeshadow Palette - Gypsy:
Kat Von D True Romance Eyeshadow Palette - Gypsy is the key to a sexy smoky eye with a hot summer twist. Designed by reality television star Kat Von D especially for Sephora, this artistic spectrum of shades brings an edgy-glam creativity to your makeup. The pigment-rich shadows deliver major impact to make the eyes pop! The sleek black palette is stenciled with silver roses and arrives packaged in a silk-screened black and silver box that is itself a work of art and inspired by Kat's favorite tattoo. (34$)
True Romance Eyeshadow Palette - Beethoven:
A smoky eye adds an instant air of mystery—create your own with the True Romance Eyeshadow Palette.
(I'd use this one for the night look, great for partying!) (34$)
True Romance Eyeshadow Palette - Ludwig:
The descriptions are all quite the same, but for this one I think it's one of the most wearable ones. Really pretty.(34$)
Kat Von D Autograph Eyeliner:
A liquid eyeliner from tattoo-artist Kat Von D. The eyeliners come in 12 different colors. That's such a plus, because there are eyeliners in colors like purple, turquoise, etc. They come at a price of 16$ each. I'm not quite sure if they're not like 16€ here too. Ew.
Tattoo Concealer:

Kat Von D Tattoo Concealer is a creamy, blendable secret weapon that gives instant, customizable coverage. This oil-free, long-wearing formula makes blemishes, dark circles, tattoos, and imperfections disappear. It is perfect for any occasion that calls for a flawless look. Comes in three colors plus you can buy a brush for appyling it. The concelears are 25$, the brush is 19$.
Painted Love Lipstick:
Designed by reality television star Kat Von D especially for Sephora, Painted Love Lipstick takes Kat's signature lip color, a sophisticated red, and expands it into a range of smoldering shades, from crimson to blood red. It comes housed in a deluxe tube with a clear Lucite bottom that shows off the color inside, and the cap is stenciled with silver roses on matte black—inspired by Kat's favorite tattoo.
It's avalible in 11 colors, 18$ each. I must say that those are some really nice colors.
Lightning Sheer Lip Gloss:
Add shine and dimension to your pucker with Lightning Sheer Lip Gloss, a heavenly-scented, sparkle-inflected sheer gloss. Designed by reality television star Kat Von D, especially for Sephora, the gloss is very versatile. Add a glittery, super-sheer coat to bare lips, or layer over Painted Love Lipstick for high impact! This gloss comes in celestial shades that create a virtual bolt of lightning, bringing an edgy-glam creativity to your makeup.
Available in 13 colors, all glittery. 18$ each.
Rock n Roll Eyeshadow Duos:
Make some sparks or create a posh, polished look with the Rock n Roll Eyeshadow Duos. Designed by reality television star Kat Von D especially for Sephora, these hues complement each other and bring an edgy-glam creativity to your makeup, whether worn as liners or shadows.
10 palettes, 20$ each. Mostly just doubles of one color. Like one normally shiny green plus another super shiny green. Not really interesting.
Kat Eye Brush Set:
The set comes in a black vinyl case stenciled with silver roses to protect the brushes while you're on the move.
The set includes:
- Angled eyeshadow brush
- Eyeshadow blending brush
- Angled brow brush
- Smudge brush
- Flat eyeliner brush
The price is 48$.
Kat's Pandora's Box:
Whether you choose to channel pin-up perfection or rocker chic, this Sephora exclusive must-have allows you to organize all of your beauty essentials, with quintessential Kat style. The interior of the case is stenciled with silver roses on matte black, inspired by Kat's favorite tattoo, and the top is signed with a silver Kat Von D monogram—the ultimate signature of tough girl glam.
Size: 11 x 6.5 x 4.5"
It's price is 68$. A little too much for a regular make up bag.
So at the end I'm excited about the concealer and the lipsticks. Nothing else. We'll see if I'll manage to grab any of those things next time when I go to Italy!
EDIT!:
I went to sephora, that's quite close to me (okay other country, but still 30 minutes away) and they DIDN'T HAVE IT! :(

Review: Essence Purifying Nose Stripes
essence,
essence pure,

pure skin purifying nose stripes,

review
As you all know, Essence has a pure skin line. In it, there are lots of care/cover/clean products. One of those are this anti-spot nose stripes. You can get them for a really good price.
The description says: Refine that problem nose area and banish troublesome blocked pores. regular use helps to prevent the formation of new blackheads and keeps skin pore-deep clean. Okay, sounds great! I opened the little box just to find three of those things. No worries, I don't give up so easily even if I was quite shocked.
After that I opened one of those little bags;
There I see the first problem. It's shaping. Okay, not really the shape but the lack of the little cuts on it, that should be there for easy applying. Okay not such a big deal, you might say. So let's move on. The instructions says:
- clean the face
- peel the stripe off from the plastic liner with clean and dry hands (why dry?!)
- apply stripe to moistened nose with the shiny side facing your skin (if that wasn't obvious?)
- gently smooth the stripe to ensure a good skin contact, leave it on for max 10-15 minutes
- its active agent conjoins with the blackheads and excess oil
- carefully peel off the dried stripe (wet with water if necessary), taking off impurities in parallel
- rinse residues with water
- avoid using on skin which is sensitive to bandages or peel-off masks and on irritated, extremely dry or sunburned skin
- for the nose area only, use every-third-day maximum
So far I get it. But the thing is, that when I used this stripe for the first time... it did nothing! Like, really. I think I'd get more effect if I put any sticker on my nose and peel it off. Now I'm hoping for a better result. I really don't like the smell. It smells like alcohol and a bit artificial too. Not nice. I waited the maximum of time, so 15 minutes. After so much time it gets really hard. This time, I was really surprised. It actually DID get out some of those filled pores (no, I'm not taking any pictures, it's gross). Not bad, not bad at all. That gives it a big plus! But my nose itches?! Weird. Well, I wouldn't really suggest this product because for like a bit more of money you can get so much more. Like six nose stripes and forehead stripes. But if you want to just try this kind of product and don't want to use too much money, then this would be the product for you. I'm not sure if I'm going to buy this product again, but for a here and there use is really good. It would be perfect if it had the small cuts in the stripe (but it's not such a big deal it being without them), and if there were more stripes in the little box. I mean just three?! C'mon! If I could give it a grade it would be 3/5. Not bad, but not even great for the price. Rating: 1/5 ♥

I know that today I'm really late with posting, but this day was really hard for me. So annoying.
Yesterday night I applied S-he 433 (in my living room, on the sofa, that's why the sloppy apply) and it still looks really nice. Great as yesterday.
I wanted to share three pictures of it, with You all, because this color is really special. In a way it's a light pink with golden shimmer, on another hand it's light gold. Really interesting and fun!
After two layers it's still not completely opaque, but I don't mind. I wouldn't go with another layer because then, it would be too bright. And not that I don't like bright colors (on the opposite), but to be honest I never wore any yellowish nail polish before.
So here are the pictures;

DM haul
Gee, I know. I'm probably a shopaholic. Or something quite similar. If I were rich I'd probably own all the drugstores in my town. Hm, and those close to it.
Lately, I've got the tendency to buy (or actually it's more accurate to say that I'd like to buy) natural products. I went with my dear to coffee and then for a walk. Later I remembered that there's a DM drugstore in Portoroz so I HAD to buy something. I felt really lost with all those lovely and interesting almost 100% (or 100%) natural products.
But I walked out with these beauties (one is missing, I gave it to my dear. It was a super sparkling nail polish, no idea what will he do with it - probably something that has to do with painting models of boats/planes).The Balm Balm lip balm -it's 100% natural. It contains Butyrospermum park (shea butter), helianthus Annuus (sunflower oil), Cera alba (beeswax), calendula Officinalis (calendula oil), Simmondsia Chinensis (jojoba oil). How sweet is that?!
It is in this super cute small box ( the first reason I picked it up, second are the ingredients), but if you don't like applying balm with your fingers, I suppose this isn't for you.
The S-he nail polish holds the number 433. You can see it applied on nails HERE (parokeets) - if you can't understand Slovenian, don't worry there are lots of very nice pictures (so pretty!).
This wasn't exactly a very cheap buy (I was expecting to spend about hmmm 3€, haha), I spent 8€. The lip balm was a little less than 5€ and the s-he nail polish was 1,95€. The other nail polish was 0,99€. But then I realized why (after I bought it of course) because it has to be used in THREE months?! Are we kidding? 5ml of product, that's so funky it can't be used every day, in three months?!
I'm pretty pleased with my haul. But I really should write some more reviews. Hmm, yep that's what I'll do. After my NOTD of course ;).
Don't you love the super fancy color of this S-he nail polish?
xoxo,
Tamara
Going Eco. SIGG bottle.

I always wanted an Eco way of storing my water. I mean not the classic plastic bottles, but something reusable.
I know, I know.. You can reuse plastic bottles, but washing them is a pain in the ass + they're somehow toxic. And the bacteria gets on them pretty quickly (the part where you drink from).
Anyhow a couple of months ago I found those super cute aluminium bottles from SIGG in a drug store in Ljubljana. They were so damn adorable, but hell almost 30€ for one? *shock*
But true, I have probably spent waaaay more for bottled water.
I got this lovely Hello Kitty design (most of you probably don't know that I just love Hello Kitty stuff, actually lets call it hidden passion), tho I really liked the other designs too. Hmm maybe one day I'll get the dragon design and the sakura design too!
I'm not sure why, but here the bottles were 17,50€ instead of almost 30€. Probably it has something to do with Ljubljana being the main city of Slovenia. Hm probably (No I didn't buy it in Ljubljana).
Here are some quick pictures, taken in the car, while we were driving from one place to another. Sorry for so many distracting things in them (like nails, part of the car, etc etc).
OMG I just checked their website and I want them ALL! Have you seen how adorable are some of them?!
I know that mine is under the Kids area, but I don't mind. Those are my favorite designs of those bottles. So colorful!
The best thing? This is a very fancy way to bring your water with you, plus it can hold 0.6l of liquid! And you do something for the environment!
As you may know ... I'm in love with it! And no worries, I won't buy bottled water to just fill it in this little fellow. I drink tap water, and if it didn't kill me until now, I don't think it will do. For that we have filters, tho they're not really needed here.
Go check out their site, it's awesome what kind of stuff they have (music box?!).

I must say that Essence has improved it's nail polish formula. The polishes are more pigmented. And the price is still the same!

Alright, I said no more spending for me. And I was quite right. My honey bought the oil for me :). Thank you dear!
For the last two days I was reading on a forum the jojoba oil topic. I must say that I got really hooked on the idea of owning something really natural, especially for my face.
I was choosing between two brands, but I went for the cheaper one without the added vitamin E. Hell I didn't know the other thing was vitamin E,.. anyway if I'm going to like this product I'll surly get the other one.
So 100% jojoba oil. This oil can be used almost for anything. Hair, face, body. It's almost like a miracle in a small bottle (okay not so small it contains 100ml).
If it won't work for my face (I'll try to wear it during the night as a night cream and maybe during the day), then I'll use it as shower oil, I mean the oil you apply after you shower. Or maybe for the tips of my hair. Hmmm... multi practical product. Cute.

I also asked if I could get any tester from another kind of oil. The seller gave me this huge package:

Which contains: 10ml of Calendula Oil , 10ml of calendula face cream and 10ml of calendula nappy change cream.
For the last one, I'm not sure what to do with it, but probably I'll just give it to someone. Hm.. no idea who tbh.
This mini set is based on Calendula and Sweet Almond Oil, if I got it right. Oh nice!
What is Calendula?
Calendula (Ca-lén-du-la, pot marigold) is a genus of about 12-20 species of annual or perennial herbaceous plants in the daisy family Asteraceae, native to the area from Macaronesia east through the Mediterranean region to Iran. Calendula should not be confused with other plants that are also known as marigolds, such as plants of the genus Tagetes, corn marigolds or marsh marigolds. For the last two days I was reading on a forum the jojoba oil topic. Essie Lotions + Fill The Gap
On Saturday I was waiting for my Essie pack from carodejka.. But noooo, it didn't arrive even if it was sent the day before.
Anyhow I got it today and in it were two small Essie hands/body lotions and Fill The Gap.

Both the lotions smell really fresh. I think I'll be using them as hand lotions in the summer, when I'll get bored of all the sweet smelling hand lotions. I won't use them as body lotions, simply because they're just too small for that. 59ml of pure cuteness!
They were about 3€ each, cute but a little pricey. If I'll like them, I'll get the big one.
My box of Fill The Gap is a bit poor looking. :(

I tried it already and it really fills the ridges/gaps. I expected only that from it and it does its job well!

Essence Caribbean Sea
Okay so since yesterday I bought those pretty essence colors, I wanted to try them out...
I was really going for the pink, but this blueish one is so sparkling that I had to put it on! So pretty..
I used only one layer of nail polish, it's so pigmented! I really love this.
All others nail polishes I have need at least two laylers.

Sun light:

But it's so pretty that I found it boring. So I spiced it up with some nail stickers. Now they remind me of MAC. Not any polish from them but just the brand. Funny, heh?

It's pretty interesting in real life, kind of fancy.
Oh and one more thing. I tried the super fast drying spray from Essence and well I think that it works. It makes a film over the nail so you can't ruin the polish as fast as you'd without it. After everything dries out, you have to wash your hands because it's kind of oily, but still it's a good buy.

Alright, so I went again... shopping of course! It was a quick one and quite limited, because of my budget but next time I'll surely get some more stuff!
I found the new LE show your feet! It's great, so pretty! So much colors! I was waiting for it for the whole dam month.. and now it's finally here! Even if it's quite hidden, just under the last shelve!
I was almost more happy about the Sun Club edition. YAY some tanning time (I'm pale)!

There's the essence nail spray which is for fast nail polish drying.
Then there's the essence nail art stylist, a kind of 'pen' for applying stones on nails.. I think it's usefull for other deco too.

Three LE nailpolishes Caribbean Sea, Falshy Pink and Purple Magic. The sparkle one is Nail Art Glitter Topper - Shiny Star.
And the last part of my haul is an all over shimmer for eyes, face and body. I like the colors so far because they're really usable. I wanted to replace my Manhattan's trio and this one feels like the best decision. They're really pigmented too!

This is it for my today's entry..
I hope you had a lovely day, and that tomorrow is going to be even better.

Alright yesterday I promised my boyfriend that I'll make myself a French Manicure. But I didn't tell him that I'll add some decorations to it.
Do you remember my first post? About my shopping haul? Anyhow that day I bought some Essence nail stickers that looked really like Art Deco.
So I put on a base coat with Alessandro's base coat nail polish, then drew my tips with the white nail polish from Alessandro and added two layers of pinkish color over everything.
The French manicure came out well, but when I added the stickers on the still sticky surface it became weird. I had no second try to fix the stickers, so I had to be extra careful.
The result is quite nice, tho everything looks a bit sloppy.

I finished everything with Essie Good To Go, because I was in a hurry. I had to go to my bf's place and show him the result. And you know what? The anti polish guy actually liked it. YAY!
I like it too, but I'm sure that next time it's going to look fabulous!
