EMPTIES #23 [MASSIVE]

Empties 23

After a very long time, it's time to do again an empties post. This time I took way too much time to actually take photos and write bits and bobs about the products.

I also need to set a limit of how many products will be in an empties post, since now.. well this has gone out of control.

Today, in this Empties posts there are 57 products.

sample products

Guerlain Paris Aqua Allegoria PERA GRANITA [sample], it's a lovely fresh scent that feels light and fresh. Sadly it doesn't last on me otherwise, I'd totally repurchase it. Won't repurchase it.

L'Occitane Precious BB [sample], a sample of their staple BB cream that sadly didn't work for me. I got it in the light shade but it's still too dark for me and it oxidized badly. Won't repurchase it.

Afrodita Cosmetics GRAPES Hand Cream, a product that smells exactly like grape candy, but didn't work for me. It made my hands even drier after application, so I had to use more. It was a vicious cycle and I hated it. Won't repurchase it.

shower gels

Afrodita Kozmetika Secret Garden Wild Orchid Shower Gel, a lovely orchid scented shower gel that was a pleasure using. I got bored of the scent after one use, so I had to switch it up with another product from time to time. Since there are so many shower gels out there, I won't repurchase it.

Afrodita Kozmetika Secret Garden Lovely roses Shower Gel, a fun shower gel that has a mostly warm scent. It is surely roses but also some cinnamon/ vanilla mix that got stronger as it got hit with warm water. I liked it, but I want to try new shower gels, so I won't repurchase it.

Avon Senses Joyful Tropics Shower gel, I loved the scent of this one. The color and the consistency? Not so much. The scent would linger after when I was done with my shower, which I loved. But it was pretty had to get out of the packaging because of its semi thick consistency. But either way, I'd repurchase it.

shampoo and micellar water

Garnier Ultra Doux Apricot And Oily Almond Shampoo, I got it on a sale for 1€ and I couldn't believe it. I used it all the time and I loved the scent and how clean and soft my hair was after use. I think it's a nice inexpensive shampoo (normally retails for about 2€). My normally thin and dry hair that would get oily quickly, loved this stuff! I will repurchase it.

Garnier Micellar Water, I think I talked about this micellar water somewhere, I just don't know where. I do like it, except for a pesky ingredient that is possibly cancerogenic. Even if I liked the effect it had on my skin and how well it cleaned my makeup, I won't repurchase it.

Afrodita Cosmetics 3 Active Intimate wash, it's a product I got from Afrodita and I really liked it. It has a mild scent and it's true - you could use it as a shaving balm and it would work just fine. When I went to repurchase it, there was nowhere to be found. That's why I picked another product. Next time I will probably repurchase it.

peroxide and nail polish remover

Ebelin Acetone free Nail polish remover is a pretty okay nail polish remover. It cleans polish nicely and has a strong scent. It's also pretty inexpensive. Nothing special really. I will repurchase it.

Afrodita Cosmetics Oil Peroxide 11,8%, I purchased it for some acne because I read somewhere that it helps (it kills all cells). I later decided to use it with my hair dye and stop messing around with my skin. I won't repurchase it.

DM Visiomax Contact lens cleaning solution, I purchased this version instead of the one I did last time, because I wanted to see if it was any better.  And it actually is. It cleans the contact lenses so much better that now they are really clean. And it's also inexpensive (about 4-5€). I will definitely repurchase it.

hand cream

Crazy Color Candy Floss, I really wanted to dye my hair to pink. But of course, you need to have completely bleached hair for it to work, so it just didn't work on me. I was sad. You can see the video about it, here.  I won't repurchase it.

Avon Care Cocoa Butter Hand & Nail cream is a hand cream that smells exactly like chocolate. Delicious chocolate, yum! It moisturized my hands and cuticles and I loved it so much. The great thing was that I only needed a little amount to last me a whole day. I was pretty sad to see it actually go. I will repurchase it.

Nuxe Beaute Deodorant, I talked about it here and I did get another one after I finished mine. But the thing is, that it wasn't as good as mine was (?) and now I am not such a big fan anymore. It's weird actually. I won't repurchase it.

Aveo Nail Polish Remover without Acetone, it's a generic nail polish remover that I wasn't a big fan of. The scent is way too strong and it made my whole room smell like it whenever I would use it. But it was dirt cheap. Anyway, I won't repurchase it.

Listerine Fresh Burst Mouthwash, I am not sure how did this one end with my other beauty products, but then again I did talk about toothpaste, so I guess it's logic that I'll talk about this too?
I used it, I was okay with it. It wasn't anything special. I may repurchase it.

Mirati Body Wash, I tested it for a very long time. I was sent this after I had no luck with their cream which made me break out in painful cysts. I am not a fan of this body wash aka shower gel because of the sweet lemony scent and the thick, gel consistency. I won't repurchase it.

Zendium Fresh Toothpaste, I ... I just can't. I disliked it so I threw it away half full. I really, really dislike this product. It has a bad taste and doesn't make me feel like I cleaned my teeth. I won't repurchase it.

4 KIDS AND US Anti Cellulite Cream - this is a product I got from the company and I loved the scent very much. You can read more about my experience here. I am not sure about repurchasing it.

DT Sparkle Star Skin and Hair Oil - An oil with glitter inside that was a good product just not as exciting as the oils from Nuxe. It did its job really well, but damn, I do like to look at a pretty packaging while I am using a product. That's why I won't repurchase it.

Balea Makeup Remover Oil - this has to be my HG. Seriously, it's that good! And inexpensive, wow! I totally repurchased it already and I'm hoping it didn't go discontinued as they said it will.

Oriflame Face Masks - I talked about them here and I don't think there's anything left to say. I won't repurchase them.

Ajona Concentrate Toothpaste is a product I like to go back to. It cleans my teeth very nicely but it does truly have a peroxide after taste. Weird, but effective. I will definitely repurchase it.

Weleda Kids Toothpaste is a product I like. And so does my kid. We keep repurchasing it all the time. It has a nice, gentle flavor and no harmful ingredients because kids tend to eat toothpaste.

MUA Great Lips is a colored lip balm that I liked using. It's creamy, comfortable and with a decent pigmentation. Since I don't know where you can buy them and it was a gift, I most probably won't repurchase it.

L'Occitane Melting honey Scrub is a product that I didn't like at the beginning, but as time passed, I started to like it. Once I didn't have anything left, I loved it. It's funny, because I don't like the honey scent, but the effect was wonderful. Super smooth skin for days! I would repurchase it!

SkinFood Gummy Bear Jelly Hand Cream in Chocolate Cherry, a beautiful smelling product that did a great job. It made my skin soft and nourished and I didn't need to apply it every couple of minutes. No film also! I wish it would come in a bigger packaging! I would repurchase it.

L'Occitane Jardin Secret, a hand cream from L'Occitane that left me feeling "meh". Nothing too special except for the overpowering scent. I think it was okay, but I definitely won't repurchase it.

Sun Dance Med Sunscreen for Sensitive Skin - a product that I've been using for more than a year and it's mostly fine. It's on the greasy side but makes makeup last quite a bit longer, so it's okay. But if you get it near your eyes there's hell to pay, because it won't stop burning until you stop crying and wipe the damn thing off from around your eyes. It happened to me several times, that's why I decided to ditch it and try with another sunscreen for my face. I won't repurchase it.

SebaMed Matt Facial Cream is a cream that reminds me greatly of the Bioderma Sebium Global cream and it was actually very nice. I liked using it and it definitely helped with the oil control. Also, it has no real scent which is great. I may repurchase it if needed again.

Active Solutions Mandelic / salicylic acid + Neutralising gel
Uh, where to start? I bought it because I wanted to get rid of my acne marks, scars etc. And it did help, but boy did it smell strong. Do you know that hardcore "something must have died here and now they covered it with bleach" scent? Well, it was something like that except stronger because the acid sits close to your nose once you apply it with a fan brush. I managed to wait for one whole minute before I had to put on the neutralizing gel and take it off. I wish it would come in a less Uhm, scented version, haha. But then again, it's acid so yeah. I probably won't repurchase it.

Alpstories Argan Oil, a product that you must have if you are a fan of natural oils. It has its own strong scent but I liked to use it for my hair. Even if I am a huge fan of oils, this oil didn't work for my mixed skin as it says on the packaging. It made me break out, but for my body it was wonderful! I may repurchase it.

Alpstories Rose Moisturizing Face Cream is another product from Alpstories, which is a brand that I'm very fond of. Their robot Baltazar sounds like so much fun and I am sure it would be fascinating to see how he created and mixed creams and oils. You can read more about the cream here. But I won't repurchase it.

COSRX Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence is an HG for me. Seriously, I love this product. I talked about it here and also here, more in depth. I will repurchase it forever!

Nuxe Bio Beaute Body Oil is another favorite product of mine. With a lovely scent and a light feeling on the skin it quickly became THE body oil I love. It got me so excited that I managed to use it in less than two months. I wept a bit when I ran out of it, but I am sure I'll repurchase it in the future.

De Le Roi Anticellulite Cream is a cream that worked for me. When I used it I wasn't lazy and I was applying it and massaging my thighs twice a day. That's some dedication, yo! I absolutely despise the packaging because it's damn fugly and even if the cream worked for me, I hate hate hate the packaging and I won't repurchase it.

Nivea In-Shower Body Milk Shea Butter, okay let me tell your something. I'm lazy and for many years I didn't use a body lotion. I just skipped it and later almost cried when my body skin was feeling ultra dry and painful at times. But would I use a body lotion? Hell no, who has time for that? Well, obviously I learned to use something after my showers, but a product that helped with it was definitely this in shower body lotion. Which reminds me that I need to buy a couple of more. I will repurchase it!

Ohh, I managed to use a couple of nail polishes. That's quite an accomplishment for me. Seriously!

Essie Good to Go is a nice top coat that becomes sh*t after you hit that 1mm after 1/2 of it. Seriously, it's then that it becomes this unusable gloob that needs nail polish thinner to revive. Repeat the procedure ever two weeks and you have a very unhappy user. I won't repurchase it.

Essence Gel Look Plumping Top Coat is a nice inexpensive top coat that does its job well. It may not be the quickest to dry (bit it dries quickly), but it is one shiny top coat. Even days after application, my manicure would shine as nicely as the first day. When it has only a couple of mm inside it becomes unusable, but because of the price, I don't mind it. I will repurchase it.

Essie Blanc is a regular plain white nail polish. I like the fancy bottle but I dislike the staying power. Essie nail polishes don't last on me at all. But at least it was great for taking IG photos ;).
I won't repurchase it. There are better inexpensive nail polishes out there.

Oriflame The One Nail Shield  Seriously, this is some great stuff. I talked about it and the Essence ultra nail repair, here. Also, I compared a couple of other base coats.

Depend Gellack Remover 2 a gel polish remover that worked, smelled bad and well, was pretty expensive for the size. That's why I prefer the Aveo green bottle from Muller, which does the same job as well as this one does. I won't repurchase it.

A bunch of Essence Mascaras from the FORBIDDEN VOLUME series. I hm.. don't really remember much of them, but I do know that one has micro fiber in it and one is a mascara + microfibre and the third one is just a plain mascara that you have to top it with one of the two. The effect was okay, but not better than the mascaras from the other lines. That's why I won't repurchase them.

Avon BIG Multiplied Volume Mascara is disappointing considering the name. The packaging is okay, a bit cheap looking but I had high hopes for it. Sadly it did only add length to my lashes and no volume. It also dried up quite quickly. I won't repurchase it.

Etre Belle Lash X-press & Hyaluronic mascara is the best mascara I've ever tried. Seriously! It wasn't love at first use as it was too wet the first couple of uses but after that... hell yes, I love it. Perfect length, perfect volume, staying power, everything. Except for the price and the location where it's available for purchase. Otherwise, it's my HG of mascaras. I will repurchase it!

EW dental floss (orange) - a dental floss I swear by because you get a lot of it (70m) for a decent price. Combine it with those small interdental brushes and you're pretty much good to go. I will repurchase it.

L'Occitane Shea Butter Cleansing Oil - this was my very first cleansing oil and even if I liked how easy it was to clean my makeup off with it, I didn't like the dryness it would leave on my skin. I won't repurchase it.

Carmex in a pot - I don't think I have to say anything about it. I keep using it up and repurchasing it. And it will stay so until something better comes along.

And to finish this massive post, here are two bags of COSRX Acne Pimple Master Paches. Which are small patches for your acne. They help tremendously and I will keep repurchasing them forever. I only wish I wouldn't get a "cheap ass" syndrome whenever I am repurchasing them because they are a skin saviour.

Which product from my list have you tried and what did you think about it?
