August 2017 FAVORITES

August 2017 FAVORITES

My last favorites post was back in June when I discovered some new products that I love. You can read all about it in this post - Favorites of June 2017.

Since Summer came to an end (ah, bye bye, you will be missed dearly!) I put together a small list of the products that got me excited in the last month.

There are only five but best things come in ... well more than one, haha. Anway, here they are.

August 2017 FAVORITES

There are five products that made me say "WOW". Or at loud several times.

Here they are in no special order:

What is it?
It's a skin cleansing device with a name and looks of a sex toy.
The LUNA play plus includes all the advantages of the LUNA play, plus a bigger brush head, softer bristles and a replaceable battery.

Why do I love it?
It does the job well (cleansing) and the sonic cleansing leaves my skin smooth and my pores clean.
It's small but wonderful and I will talk more in depth about it in a future post.
At the cost of 50€, it's a pricey device but a well worth it.

*AVON mark. Perfect Brow Crème Gel Pot

What is it?
A gel in a pot to fill in your brows.

Gorgeous gel brows. Build your blendable brow definition with our shade-and-set creamy pots and pro brush for total brow envy!

Why do I love it?
I was skeptical as I always am of new things, but the pigmentation, the ease of use and longevity got me. It's extremely easy to use and even I, the girl with messy eyebrows now can have Instagram-worthy eyebrows. It makes me feel better about myself.  And if I can get a self-esteem boost from a product that costs less than 10€, why shouldn't I?

Foreo and Avon

L'OCCITANE Shea Light Comforting Cream

What is it?
A gentle facial cream that feels a bit heavy while applying it, but leaves a smooth and soft feeling afterward.

The Light Comforting Cream, with its fine and non-greasy texture, is formulated with 5% shea butter to answer the essential needs of normal to combination skin, including sensitive skin types. Lastingly moisturized (48h)**, skin is supple and soft. As protected against external aggressions, skin stays comfortable all day long.

Why do I love it?
I had a sample last winter and it made my skin smooth and happy. I remembered how much I loved it but never took the jump at purchasing it because it was just too expensive. At 30€ for a pot, this cream should last me a long time. It has a gentle scent and is the perfect finish to my skincare regime.

L'Occitane and Paese cosmetics

What is it?
A shea butter based foot cream.

A prescription for relief and well-being. Contains antiseptic A.O.P. lavender essential oil to purify, and anti-inflammatory arnica extract to help reduce redness and irritation. Refreshing mint cools feet. Enriched with 15% nourishing Shea Butter for exceptional comfort.

Why do I love it?
My feet and especially my heels are hard, dry and sometimes they feel rough. They aren't a pretty sight and I hate it when my feet don't glide smoothly on my bed sheets. It's irritating. But with this cream that is also damn expensive (about 24€) my feet get the care they need and are happy as a kiddo with candy. I know it sounds crazy, but it's the first cream that I found to work on my rough feet.

*PAESE Shimmer Pressed Powder

What is it?
A pressed shimmery powder. Mine came in the color "02" and is a tad too dark to be used as an all over powder.

Powder highlights or imitates the suntan, making the skin look healthy and relaxed.
Highly ground pearl reflects the light, ensuring luminosity.
It is the multifunctional product for modeling the face, as it can be used as the blusher, brightening powder or bronzer.

Why do I love it?
It's simple. Since it's a tad too dark on me, I use it as a combination of a bronze with highlights. It makes my complexion glow in a very natural manner. It's a simple product with a pretty packaging. It's also a bit pricey for what it is - 16€. But I still enjoy using it a lot.

These were my August favorites. Which ones are yours? Let me know in the comments below.

Products marked with a * were sent to me by the company or their PR. My reviews are always honest.
