Empties #22 [Summer Vacation Edition]

Since I've been on the seaside for almost a month, I feel it's only right to make a separate post for all the products that I've used up.
Later I'll post about my regular empties that are accumulating in a box, but in the meantime let's look at these pretties.

Let's start with them, shall we?

NIVEA Moisturizing Sun Spray SPF 30

A product I would have never thought that I was able to use up. Seriously. But then again, I was at the seaside, the sun was super strong and for the first time in my life, I know how bad can a sunburn be (and the aging of the skin because of it). So the first week there, I managed to use half of the bottle. Wow. Later I toned it down and combined it with the oil sunscreen (which my kid prefers, IDK). I like how lightweight it is and it smells delicious. Plus of course, it offers great protections from UVA/UVB rays. I will be repurchasing it!

AVON Eye Primer

It's been what? Almost a year? Yes! It's been almost a year and with almost daily use, I managed to empty this little gem. For a low price eye primer, this thing is the bomb. Seriously. It's so good. It goes on as a concealer (a bit thicker, but still creamy) and blends nicely in the first 30 seconds. Then you're doomed as it dries up and doesn't nudge. You have to be fast. But with it, my makeup survived for the whole day, even in the heat and lots of sweat. Oh, and I have oily eyelids. I will definitely repurchase it!

COSRX BHA Blackhead Power Cream

At first, I was skeptical about it, but after a couple of weeks, I noticed a difference. And boy does it make a difference! I used it daily (every night) before going to bed and it made my skin super soft. This is definitely one of the most gentle BHA creams out there, but it still makes a difference. You can read more about it here. Will definitely repurchase!

L'OCCITANE Aromachologie Revitalizing Shower Gel - Mini

I purchased it because the SA said it is perfect for waking you up in the mornings. I don't know, but it did work really well for keeping me cool during the heat (while I was in the shower). The scent is strong, but not overpowering. It is full of essential oils and I feel it's a bit overpriced for what you get. I liked using it, but I won't repurchase it.

AFRODITA SOS Tropical Spray Against Mosquitoes and other Insects

You know what's the seaside notorious for? Mosquitoes. During the day/night the evil Tiger Mosquitoes that came from China and during the night only, the "native" mosquitoes. I've become allergic to the night "eaters", but I still dislike the Tiger pests. One bite from the native mosquito results in a very painful and itchy bump that swells a lot. One bite from a Tiger mosquito is never just one because in one "session" they bite multiple times.  And because I was at the seaside for so long, I used up TWO of these sprays. They have a very strong citrusy smell but work well with the damn things. I didn't like that the pump started leaking on me, but I did survive that. On average I got about 2h of peace when I sprayed myself with it. Will repurchase!

4 KIDS AND US After-Sun Oil

I was surprised how quickly I went through it once I started using it after every single shower. I normally don't shower daily (but do it every 2nd day because of the skin moisture barrier) but at the seaside, the humidity was so high that I was sweating profusely most of the time. So daily showers were a must. After the shower, I'd apply a bit of this greenish colored dark, luscious body oil and massage it in. And of course enjoy the scent and how soft my skin would be. This is actually a really great product that I can see myself repurchasing it.

ZENDIUM Kids' Toothpaste

Of course, all I had with me was this toothpaste. My dear forgot to bring the "adult" version of this toothpaste with him, so we were stuck with it. It tastes actually really nice (like a strawberry version of a curd yogurt), a taste that was completely unexpected in a toothpaste. I did like it, but because of it I never got the feeling of clean teeth. Quite annoying. But anyway, I don't think I'll repurchase it.

SUBRINA Supreme Prolonged Hair Conditioner

This is a product I got with my hair color by Subrina and I've been using it all the time. It smells nice and fresh, of peaches and it has a white creamy consistency. It moisturizes my hair OK so I don't have anything negative to say about it. I don't think it's available separately, but if I do find it, I'll write it up. Repurchase? Maybe.

YVES ROCHER Olive Oil Shower Gel

Isn't it cute? It's small and holds 50ml of shower gel. That's plenty or it should be...  except that the gel is very watery and did slip a couple of times out of the bottle. Whoops!
I liked the neutral scent and how well it washed my skin. It wasn't anything too extraordinary, except for its cuteness. Won't repurchase.

SEBAMED Sport Shower Gel 2 in 1 (Body & Hair)

Okay, I got it with me just because of the writing "sport" on it. I was hoping it would clean well during the hot, humid days. Well, yeah. It did clean well. But it's an off-putting blue color and has a very "manly" scent. I didn't mind it but it wasn't exactly enjoyable for the most. And I would never dream of putting it into my hair. ouch!
Won't repurchase!

Which one of these do you think is a keeper?
