I had the chance of trying my very fist Sally Hansen Gel polish thanks to the Beauty Box (which is a Slovenia based subscription box). I got one of the boxes and in it was this Topcoat.
The top coat is brilliant - I only have a bit of a problem getting it off my nails when I use it with any other polish that is not the same brand as SH.

And because I like the top coat so much, the next time I went to DM I decided to pick a nail polish. But lucky for me, I saw the promotion they had - BOGO. You pay for one nail polish and you get 2!
Usually, the price for one is 10€ which is comparable to Essie, OPI and Zoya nail polishes. But I am not a fan of any of those as they don't last on my nails.
I picked the sea wave box which included two nail polishes - SUGAR FIX and CREME DE LA CREME.
The next best thing to a salon gel manicure that you can do at home - The longer lasting manicure.
I even like the box they came in - so cool and I'm getting summer vibes from it.
The CREME DE LA CREME is an off white cream polish. It looks off white on nails and it looks amazing! It is my perfect bridal white (not completely white because it has a tad of pink in it). I used 2 layers for full opacity.
I had it on my nails for 5 days and from far away it looked as good as ever. But from up close I was able to see some fine lines (cracks) which were a tad ugly.
I didn't mind but I still took it off on day 5 even if it didn't chip. I think it could last another couple of days before it would be up for removal. But at least I had a chance to see how it works with my nails.

SUGAR FIX is a beautiful cool light blue, which looks like it has a tad of purple in it. It is a tad muted (but shows up bright under direct light). I used 2 layers to get full opacity.
I noticed that the drying time was reduced slightly if I didn't use a base coat under it. Without a base coat, it took about 15-20 minutes to dry. That's a bit longer than I'm used to, but because of the longer staying power, I can totally live with it.
I must say that I'm pretty impressed by these polishes and I think I may go back to grab a couple more. The formula is just that good!
