Review: Eyeko London Lips Primrose Hill

Hi,

Today I have a new review for you all! Since this is a lip gloss, it didn't need a lot of testing at all.
I got this gloss because I made my first sale as an Eyeko Ambassador. I don't think I'd ever pay 7€ for a lip gloss.

Make way for Eyeko London Lips Lip Gloss poured into pretty tubes stamped with iconic London images. Long-lasting colour and non-stick shine make for smooth application in a choice of 3 sheer and 3 cream blends. Eyeko London Lips are sweetly scented with a fruity fragrance and available in six lust-worthy shades.

Primrose Hill
A pretty lilac shimmer for girls on the go. This suits-all shade is ultra flattering.

Eyeko London Lips Ingredients:
Polybutene, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Paraffinum Liquidum(Mineral Oil), Ceresin, Pentaerythrityl Tetraisostearate, Polyethylene, Glyceryl Behenate / Eicosadioate, Hydroxystearic Acid, Phenoxyethanol, Parfum (Fragrance)

May Contain:
CI 77820 (Tin Oxide), CI 15850:1 (D&C Red 7 Ca. Lake), CI 77891 (Titanium Dioxide), CI 15850:2 (D&C Red 6 Ba. Lake), CI 77499 (Iron Oxide Black), CI 77492 (Iron Oxide Yellow),
CI 45410:2 (D&C Red 27 Al Lake), CI 77491 (Iron Oxide Red)

It comes in a lovely tube (with little buses/flags/etc on it), which is always great because you can get out every last drop!

The applicator is easy to use and it comes build on the package (as with most tube glosses).  It gets messy after a couple of uses (if you are like me and squeeze out  too much of it!)

The gloss is very sheer, but it gives you a hint of color and SHIMMER. I love the shimmer, it is very subtle and visible only in certain angles. Plus you can't feel the shimmer at all!

It is quite sticky, and it actually does feel stick for the first minute or so, but then that feeling disappears and you are left with moisturized lips. I really like the moisturized feeling it left me with.

Sadly the lasting power is't all that great. It lasted me for a couple of hours (without eating or drinking), but when I decided it's time to drink it all went off. I didn't use a straw, so that's why.

It also has a lovely fruity scent which makes me want to eat it!

Isn't it beautiful?

I think it's a good gloss, but the price is.. well pretty much expensive for a lip gloss. I'm sorry but I wouldn't pay 7€ for a lip gloss. But then again, I am not a lip gloss girl.

Pros:
+ Great color that suits every skin tone
+ It's filled with shimmer, but you can't feel it on your lips
+ It moisturizes your lips
+ Lovely package

Cons:
- The price

Price: 1/5 ★☆☆ (7€/$10/£6.50)
Rating: 3/5

Overall:
The gloss is really pretty and it applies nicely. It gives you a hint of color and subtle shimmer. Thus I'd say it is very wearable for day and night time. And because I'm a cheapo, I wouldn't pay 7€ for it even if it is quite moisturizing. So yes, I like it but I wouldn't buy it alone because I am really not a lip gloss kind of a girl. If I ever purchase it again, it will be in a sale. That yes, because Eyeko has some lovely sales here and there (now there's a 3 for 2 sale going on, here.), and if you'd like you can use my code E4634 at checkout for a gift when you buy for over 18€).

*This product was purchased by myself. My opinion is always honest.
