Review: Eyeko Cherry Fat Balm SPF 15

Hi dolls,

Today I have another review of an Eyeko product for you all! I know I'm on a spree, lol!

Anyway I heard many great things of the new version of the Fat Balms, so I was really happy when I saw that I got one as a freebie with my purchase (I used my Ambassador code).

And what would suit me better as a Cerry Fat Balm?! :D

Eyeko Fat Balm Cherry
Red lips are a classic trend revisited each season and one slick of Eyeko Cherry Fat Balm is perfect for lipstick virgins.  Flatters all skin tones!

Ingredients:
Castor Oil, Isopropyl Myristate,  Butyl Stearate, Carnauba Wax, Bees Wax, Jojoba Oil, Polyethylene, Cetearyl Alcohol, Candelilla Wax, Fragrance, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Octocrylene, Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane

May Contain:
Mica CI 77019, Titanium Dioxide CI 77891, D&C Red No. 6 CI 15850, D&C Red No. 7
They have a new package design -I love the box, but the package alone is very cheap and ugly looking. I don't like the gray color (why gray anyway?!) and I think black would look better.

Alright I like their logo on the package, but that's it. I really don't like gray plastic. Especially not this kind of gray shade.

The balm has a gorgeous, gorgeous and once more - gorgeous scent! I LOVE it! It smells like cherry candy. Fresh and at the same time it has a hint of something sweet! It's actually perfect.
Plus it makes me want to eat it (which may not be the best idea ;).

As you can see it's very opaque. I love this shade of red, because it's not very dark but then again it's not even bright. It's just a regular cool toned red with tiny little bits of shimmer (I see red and blue?).

The apply is a bit problematic because of the big packaging (thus bit balm). It's best to apply it from the packaging and then finish it with a brush. It's also buildable.

This product is pretty much long lasting. It stays on longer than a lip gloss and it acts as a cream lipstick. Or something between a gloss or a lipstick. And of course you can use it as a blush too (you tap it on your cheeks and gently spread it in a tapping motion - here's my tutorial).

I must say that the formula has improved tremendously! I like it way more than I did any of the old fat balms!

Pros:
+ You get a lot of product (5.2g)
+ You can use it as a blush or a lipstick
+ It is buildable
+ It flatters any skin tone (<3!)
+ I'd actually pay that price
+ It comes in a gorgeous box
+ Has SPF 15

Cons:
- Ugly gray package. Ugly.
- Cheap

Price: 3/5  ☆ (7.5€ / £6.50/ $10.00)
Rating: 4/5

Overall:
I have tried all three of the old fat balms and to be honest I finished only one of them (the Minty one - of which I didn't really like the scent). The other two were mostly used for blush and then they were laying forgotten. All until I had to throw them away. But this balm is different. It smells divine (like cherry candy!!), the box it came in is gorgeous (tho the package is hideous) and it applies like a dream (texture wise). It also gives a lovely red lip or flushed cheeks. I only wish it would be easier to apply (not because of the texture but because it's kind of big for your lips). I like it.

*This product was purchased by myself. My opinion is always honest.
