Project Pan 2018 - UPDATE

Project Pan 2018 - UPDATE

I have started this year with a Project Pan which is still going on. It's a project where the point is to use the 10 or your set number of products during this one year

I have used quite a bit of product and it's time to update mine. If you are curious which items I am set to use up, you can check my post - Project Pan 2018

Project Pan 2018 - UPDATE

I have used 6 items, I gave away 1 item and I have thrown away 1 item.
I also realized that I forgot to include foundations in the last post - one of those two I have used up (Catrice HD) and one given away (Rimmel red cap).

USED UP

AA HYDRO SORBET CREAM

I liked the design of the packaging but I wasn't a big fan of the fact that the cream is colored and very perfumed. I used it up and am glad I did so. I mean at the end I was willing to just declutter it as I just did not like it anymore. It is a pretty heavy cream as it is meant for dry and normal skin. I would not repurchase it.

COSRX ULTIMATE MOISTURIZING OVERNIGHT MASK

I am a big fan of sleeping masks. I truly am. But with this mask, we got to a bad start (check why here) and I couldn't get over it. It also did nothing for my skin. My skin didn't look more hydrated, or prettier. It was sticky after the application and that was pretty much it. I would not repurchase it.

L'OCCITANE VERVEINE GEL HAND CREAM

I used this cream extremely quickly. Once I set my mind to it, it was used up in a week. I enjoyed the slight cooling effect it had on my skin. I did enjoy it but I don't think I would repurchase it. I don't think I'd repurchase it.

CATRICE EYEBROW PENCIL

I have neglected this pencil for so very long since I have several eyebrow products that I love to use.
It's a good pencil, does its job well and is pigmented enough. I decided that I'll use it up quicker if I'll sharpen it after each use. This way my eyebrow will be sharper (as with finer detail) and the pencil will be gone. Well, I managed to use it only for one eyebrow before it came up empty. Uh, so I was left with one eyebrow done and the other, nope. But since it's a good product I would repurchase it.

A'PIEU CLEANSING OIL

This oil has some brilliant packaging! It's pretty, it has the best combination of pink and blue and it's darn adorable. Plus the cleansing oil is really nice. I like the scent (lemon custard) and how well it cleans my makeup and sunscreen. I only needed one or two pumps to get my whole face and then it easily got off with warm water. I was sad to see it gone. I would repurchase it!

I GAVE UP

I gave away the Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Reinessance palette. Why? Because I didn't use it as regularly as I wanted it to and because I wanted to focus on my other palettes. Well, I miss it every single day. But I will keep going with my other palettes and then I'll see if I'll repurchase it.

I also threw away the Labellino since it began to stink. My kiddo is the one that loves using them and I don't know what he did to it (I suppose lots of drool) but it started stinking of some sort of cheese. Off it went!

IN CONCLUSION

I realized that I don't like lots of products I use. I mean, they aren't perfect and thus aren't really worthy of my time. It's silly but I am sure that I will be able to find the perfect products for my skin and makeup needs. There are so many different options that sometimes finishing a product you don't like just isn't worth it. But this project is making me think twice about new purchases. Now I see how long it takes to finish one product. I still have 10 products left and this may be a long year
