My 5 Favorite products from Essence

We all know Essence, don't we?
Essence has been featured several times on my blog and I keep going back to their products because they are affordable, cute and good quality.

Today I wanted to share my latest 5 favorite products from their regular line. Some of them have been my favorites for a very long time, others have become that just recently.

5 Favorite Products from Essence

  • Single Matt or Satin Blushes.
They are fantastic, pigmented and inexpensive (about 2€). They've come out with several new shades so everyone can find one that suits them. I find that the single colors are better than those that come in palettes.
  • Waterproof Eyeliners
I have oily, hooded eyes and no eyeliner last on me. If it does it's a pain to apply and to remove. But not these. They are about 1,5€ and have a felt tip. Usually, they come with a blue cap or are fully black (like my current). They are easy to apply and last a whole day (and more)!
  • Long lasting eye pencils (for my waterline)
It is hard to find a creamy, long lasting eyeliner. Usually, they rub off or just melt away under a couple of minutes, but not these. I buy them in the black and nude color so I can go from daily to smokey in a matter of minutes.
  • Stay all day Matte Fixing powder (translucent)
Fixing powders are a must for oily or combination skin or for skin that becomes a bit slick during hot days. I get oily even during Winter that's why a good setting powder is a must for me. This one is inexpensive, lasts a long time and does the job well. If I use too much it is drying otherwise it's nice. During the day I blot away the excess oil and add powder if it's still needed.
  • My must have palettes (DIY)
I was skeptical of their eyeshadows for a very long time because they weren't very pigmented and usually very quite chalky. Well, they must have fixed that in one of the recent releases because the new matte and shimmery shadows are pretty nice for the price (1,59€ for each).
I used them for a couple of weeks in my daily makeup and they survived on my oily, hooded eyes with my usual eye primer (Etude house Proof 10). And that's something not many eyeshadows do, so yay!

There were my top 5 favorite products from Essence. What are yours?

I also made a small video congratulating Essence for their 15th birthday (+ unboxing and MU):
