New in: January 2017

January is my birth month and this means that I spent waaaay too much on cosmetics. I mean, of course, I'll survive but looking back - I could do with some items less?

But I am happy with them anyway and I'm slowly digging trough them. Also, I am back to working with companies and some of them sent me some PR goodies.

New in January 2017

I wanted a really pigmented palette and my dear friend made my wish come true. She got me the Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance palette.  I am forever grateful! Last year she got me the Urban Decay Naked Basics 2 palette which I still use daily!

I also got the very expensive but probably worth every cent C20 Tetraforce 20% Vit C concentrate. I use it with my cream and so far so good.

I needed some new eyebrows product so I picked a product that has been my staple for the last couple of years. Of course, I'm talking about the Catrice Eyebrow Set that I already talked about it here

Since I heard or should I say read lots of great reviews about the Catrice Eyebrow Filler, I had to have it. My eyebrow hair is thin and blonde and I will use anything to get it where I want it to be!

I am still in love with highlighters so I couldn't pass the chance when I found a pure, intact shelf of the new Catrice strobing Le. I picked up the Strobing Gel which is very wearable and looks so natural!

The last thing I picked up at this time is the Essence Intensive Care Hand Butter. It smells interesting, a bit like some sort of shea butter and it sinks into the skin pretty quickly. It leaves a light film behind.

A PR sample was this HUGE Nivea Caring Micellar Water - there's 400ml of it!

I also got my very first order from Deciem - I ordered Buffet, Coffee Solution and Hyaluronic acid from their brand The Ordinary. I am currently adoring their hyaluronic acid and Buffet!

I ran out of the beloved Balea cleansing oil so I had to pick something else. I ordered this Etude House Mild Cleansing oil with a Mona Lisa on it.

Another PR sample is the new Vichy Ideal Soleil SPF 50 and a gift from the team - A Vichy Mask Set to help me relax after stressful days.
I am currently testing the very orange sunscreen and I'm hoping it will be wearable for me.

I also ran out of my regular cleanser so I had to buy another one. I heard that this Balea Ultra Sensitive Gel is very gentle and has a low pH, so I had to have it.
And the shower gel? Well, I love oil shower gels. This one is the Balea Showeroil with 70% of the oil. And by the ingredients, it looks like it's soy oil.

Sometimes I'm very easily to influence. And this is why I bought three BB creams by a brand I have never heard of before, just because a girl was raving about it in our Facebook group. Whelp!
I am talking about the now discontinued Kolor!sta BB Cream. I got it in two shades - 01 and 02 and both are too dark for me. The formula is brilliant but I guess I'll have to mix it with a white base since there's no way in hell I'm throwing them out - I paid 45€ for them!

I got the upcoming Essence We Are collection - 6 items from it. Two lipliners, a stick eyeshadow, an eyeliner that it waterproof and brilliant, false lashes and a blush.

When I was deciding on what to get my twin sister for her birthday, I stumbled upon these. They are part of the Born Pretty Store  Nude gel set and I'm currently wearing the number 07. A pink nude. I am very happy that they work with LED lamps!

I wanted a nice mattifying powder and probably in a compact to take with me whenever I go. I purchased mine from The Face Shop and it's called Oil Clear in Sheer Pink. Well, sure it is pink, but it's pretty white and it leaves my skin ghostly white. Eh.

Another PR set was this lovely looking set of three items by Avon - a mascara and two lipsticks. They surely look fantastic!

Since I was curious how well did Garnier with their sheet masks, I bought all three of them. So far I've used the green one and hated every minute of it since it burned my skin!

I got the L'Occitane almond oil as a gift from a coworker and it smells fantastic. It is one of my favorite scents and I can't pinpoint why.

Another heavily influenced purchase was the Bocassy Clean & Tone Tonic that luckily doesn't contain any alcohol but it still managed to burn my skin on the first try. On the second it was fine.

I am stull buying the DM contact lenses because they still work for me and are cheap :).

January is, of course, the month when everyone starts living healthier. And I'm one of them. I purchased some essentials from Lidl - their new Yoga line. Aren't they pretty? Of course, the bras are low support, but pretty.

And as the last thing, this is a Collagen Crystal Neck Bag Mask I got from my sister as part of my birthday gift. I am not sure how it works, but I'm willing to try it. :)

This last package was something that surprised me. It is a gift from the company that imports Cosnova brands (Dominur). They have the best PR team (Natalija).
I got two upcoming products - a Catrice Ombre lipstick and Rock Couture Extreme Volume Mascara, which is great since I love testing mascaras. I also got a red Catrice nail polish and a highlighter from the Kaviar gouche LE. Thank you!!

Which products from my list peaked your interest and why?
