Review: Little Sparrow lipsticks

Hello!

I got the opportunity to write a review featuring Little Sparrow Cosmetics products - look how cute their logo is! The first part of the review will be about the lipsticks and the second part about the eyeshadows I received.

The owner - Jessica is very nice and as I could read in the makeup community she and her company have a great reputation. Her most known products are Lip Jellies (seriously guys, you need them in your life) and blue blushes. Quite unique items, if you ask me!

I received a bunch of lipsticks and decided to pick three for myself and the others went for the giveaway.
The shipping was quick (especially coming from the USA), and it took about 10 days. The products were safely packaged and came intact to me.

I picked: Fuchsia zone lipstick, Nude Peach lipstick, and Raspberry Tart Lip jelly.

These are my nude lips, for reference.

Fuchsia Zone lipstick

Fuchsia Zone: Is a hot pink/fuchsia lipstick that has medium opacity. It glides on easily and spreads evenly. I think this is perfect for Autumn/Winter because it is a tad darker than the other colors I tried. It can be layered on and then it is more of a berry color, but still very vivid.
It doesn't stay long on my lips, but it is very moisturizing

Ingredients: Sweet almond oil, Grapeseed oil, Shea butter, Candelilla wax, Pigment Violet, Mica, Titanium Dioxide, D&C Red #7, Hydrogenated Polyisobutene

+ gorgeous color
+ applies smoothly
+ is very hydrating

- doesn't last long on me (about 2h)

Nude Peach lipstick

Nude Peach: This color is a true nude and is the only nude lipstick that so far hasn't washed me out. Usually, when I try to wear a nude lip, I get the "sick/dead" look, which is not what I was aiming for.
But this one is a lovely peach nude and it goes well with my neutral undertone. It is very rich in consistency, so goes on a bit thicker. But the lipstick is very hydrating, which I love! Because of this I forget that I am wearing it.. :P

Ingredients: Sweet almond oil, Grapeseed oil, Shea butter, Candelilla wax, Titanium Dioxide, Iron Oxide, Pigment Violet

+ very hydrating
+ great nude lipstick that doesn't make me look dead
+ applies smoothly

- clings to dry patches on the lips

Raspberry Tart Lip jelly

Raspberry Tart: This has to be my favorite from the bunch! It is a lip jelly (her store is known for lip jellies!), which has a bit of a watery consistency, but goes on nicely. It is less opaque than the other lipsticks (because it is a jelly), but it still gives some color. It is a bright berry toned pink. Perfect for Summer!  Again, this lip jelly is very hydrating. It's my lipstick on the go.

Ingredients: Sweet almond oil, Grapeseed oil, Candelilla wax, Shea butter, Red 27, Red 21, Castor oil

+ very hydrating
+ nice color
+ goes on smoothly

- doesn't survive eating/drinking
- the lip tubes get dirty easily (with lipstick)

I am very pleased with the lipsticks and am using the Raspberry Tart almost daily. I am sure it will be a must have in my Summer bag. The tubes are handy (but they do get dirty quite quickly) and easy to transport. I like the fact that all of the products in her store are vegan and cruelty-free. The lipsticks contain no flavor or fragrance additives.

I think that everyone needs a lip jelly in their life; they are hydrating and go on smoothly. Plus the colors are amazing (I hope that one day I'll be able to try the Cherry Pop & Oh My Papaya lip jellies).
If you're not into bright colors, then Nude peach is the thing for you. Great nude that doesn't give you the sick look.
