Review: Essence Express Dry Spray

So I finally decided to do a review of this little spray bottle of magic.

The description says:
like you just came from a professional nail stylist: the practical quick `n’ dry pump helps to accelerate drying of your nail polish and nail accessories. simply spray on and your nail design will be dry just a few seconds later. especially useful when applying several layers of polish. free of aerosols.

Ingredients:
Cyclomethicone, Dimethicone, Isododecane, Acetyl tributyl citrate, CI 60725 (violet 2)

So far I've been testing it out for a couple of weeks and I think this was a pretty good buy. One bottle contains 50ml of product and so far I'm on the half of it. But it's true that I like to 'overspray' my nails with it. It doesn't have any smell, which is good since I don't want to go around with my nails smelling weird or even good. No smell is good.
After appyling it (right after the last coat of nail polish from a distance of 30 cm ) I get this super shiny effect on my nails. And hand. It's kind of funny, but not really a problem since it goes away quite fast (or you just wipe it off your hands). I think it's a bit oily looking and so it makes this interesting coat over the nails. It's super cool because after a couple of seconds you can touch your nails and they won't smudge. But you SHOULDN'T press the nail polish since it's NOT DRY! It's just a great thing if you're in a hurry and want it to dry faster. It doesn't make miracles with drying but it speeds it up a little. Actually the main thing I love it, is because of that layer of 'protection' it gives it right after you spray on your nails. On this picture you can see the shiny effect it gives to the nails (and hands hehe), it was taken right after spraying the thing.
Object Of Desire

Packaging: I like the way the little bottle looks. I like the design, the fact that it's purple and that it's somehow oily (I'm weird okay). But I really hate the little cap. Mine broke a couple of days after I purchased it. But it still stays on the bottle so it's okay. Except it isn't pretty because it's broken. The spray thing is really really a great idea, imagine if you'd have to apply it with drops or like a nail polish, ew!

Functionality: What to say after I've purchased Essie good to go, I expected miracles from it. But it wasn't a real miracle. BUT! In combination with this little fella, it's a tiny miracle. It's especially grateful it you want to go to sleep right after your manicure. Okay I wouldn't do that, I'd wait 30 min before. But still. Overall it's a great product. I'd recommend it to anyone that would like something to speed up their drying process but doesn't want to spend lots of money on a product they don't know if they'll even like. The super plus is the price. It was 2,75€ and it is so worth it.
Rating: 5/5 ♥

Overall: I love it. I will buy it again when I run out of it. I can't say anything about the ingredients because hell I don't know what they do. Hm I checked the net to see what each of the ingredient does and well.. I feel cheated. It seems that all it does it make a silky/shiny look and a protection barrier and adds some slippery feeling. But again I have no idea about the ingredients, so I'm not sure if I'm right. Anyhow I would definitely recommend it.
